Bonjour,
Super module !
Mais j'ai un petit problème : depuis quelques temps le panneau de prévisualisation des contacts n'est plus affiché.
C'est le panneau qu'on voit à différents endroits dans les captures d'écran "vue classique" et "vue verticale" de la page principale du module.
Pouvez vous me dire comment je peux basculer l'interface entre ces deux configurations (ce qui pourrait faire ré-apparaître le panneau manquant) ?
Ou tout simplement comment ré-initialiser la position des éléments de l'interface ?
Je pense qu'un réglage manque dans les préférences à ce sujet.

F8 ou alors aller dans le menu de Thunderbird et Affichage/Disposition/Panneau du contact

Fonctionne très bien globalement.. remplace le carbet d'adresse historique très efficacement !

Mais :
1/ J'aurais aimé un moyen d’arrêter une synchronisation qui tourne en boucle (aujourd'hui je n'ai pas trouvé le moyen de stopper et de modifier en conséquence l'abonnement à un carnet d'adresses)

2/ La synchronisation des listes de diffusions dans un carnet d'adresses avec un serveur SOGo ne fonctionne pas, ni dans un sens ni dans l'autre :-/

This was a big help in getting my address book cleaned up. The ability to sync address across my other Windows device (Surface) is a big deal. It seems to work just fine. Thanks!

Decent Win10 look and feel, but vertical slider does not seem to work with mouse and when a picture is present there is a constant flicker. Also, when using it to select addresses for an email, the slider issue return and there is no way to keep the address book source hidden. Everything else that I have tried seems to work ok. Just have to get used to navigating it and setting the proper preferences. More edits as I encounter them

I have installed cardbook on thinderbird 68.3.1 and have tried to connect to a my nextcloud carddav server with self-signed ssl-certificate. But I couldn`t do this, because your plugin doesn't work correctly and doesn't ask me about confirmation my self-signed certificate, how it did in lower version of thunderbird. Doesn't work and self-facilitated addition my self-signed ssl-certificate in thunderbird over options. In lower version of thunderbird your plugin is worked fine and asks me to add my self-signed ssl-certificate and passes validation in Cardbook. Can you rectify this trouble of your plugin?

Used this to enhance the built in address book in TBird; but it doesn't import the names and address correctly from the Tbird account. so then I find it more cumbersome to use than just fighting through Tbird's standard address book.

Note: if you're writing apps for TBird, check to make sure they work properly, at least at some basic level before you publish.

UPDATE:
My appologies. Apparently I did something wrong (don't know what but I'll take the blame here). I did have all the issues above and ended up removing it and leaving the message. Philippe contacted me and I told him that I would send examples of the issues; but would have to re-install to get them. I re-installed and imported my TB address book as normal but this time---- Well everything was displaying correctly. It worked perfectly.

So again, sorry. Jumped too fast on the guns there. With it now installed again, I love the functionality it brings to TB.

Been using it about a year for synchronizing to a Synology Carddav server, and it's been working really well. Recommended.

Il existe un petit bug créé le plug-in. Lorsqu'on fait suivre un crosspost sur les newsgroups, le forum en « faire suivre » se voit compléter de « <> » ce qui rend le suivi inopérant.

Bonjour,

Après mise à jour en Thunderbird 68, l'extension ne fonctionnait plus. Ce problème a semble-t-il duré un peu, mais une mise à jour récente permet de l'utiliser de nouveau.
Cependant, après mise à jour de compatibilité de cette extension, TOUS mes carnets se sont volatilisés!... Je me retrouve avec une page vierge...
Heureusement pour moi, ce sont des carnets distants, j'ai donc pu très rapidement les recréer, mais pour ceux qui stockent leurs carnets en local, prudence avant la mise à jour!... Sauvegardes indispensables! (mais comme ImportExportTools n'est plus non plus compatible... Double vigilance et mains dans le cambouis...)

Sinon, grande extension, très bien fichue, très très pratique, et pas seulement pour ajouter la fonctionnalité carddav: la présentation des fiches, la gestion des groupes, plein de petits plus en font un outil devenu pour moi indispensable, au même titre que Lightning. À quand une intégration par défaut dans TB, qu'on vire le vieux carnet d'adresse devenu à mes yeux inutile...?

It synchronizes properly with the Nexcloud server but I can't save or edit any contact. When I click [Save] it does nothing. (TB 68.2.2)

Les listes de diffusion ne fonctionnent plus. Lorsque le message est adressé à la liste celle ci ne comporte pas les adresses mail des destinataires.

Although we had some issues going from Thunderbird 60 to 68 and issues with Cardbook not reading mab files in earlier versions, we have now very successfully updated to version 42.9. The developer's response to the issues was responsive and helpful and I would be happy to recommend Cardbook to anyone wanting a high quality address book solution for Thunderbird.

Thanks for the update. Everythings syncing fine with Nextcloud again. BUT: 3rd party cookies must be enabled, otherwise all address books are invisible. luckily they are back after activation.

Really loved CardBook for the ability to sync Thunderbird with my Nextcloud Server. With TB68 it fails to connect to Nextcloud. Contacts are still present and get updated form cached db instead. Please fix
