Excellent add-on. This is now the only download manager I use. Thank you.
I have one feature suggestion : It would be great if I could add a mirror to a file that is being downloaded. It would be even better if DTa recognized a possible mirror location and asked me about it. The best ofcourse, would be if DTa could check the links on a page and figure out the mirrors by itself.

This is a great add-on! The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is there are a couple of options I think would make a valuable addition.
1. Make it so manager can pick out RS links that are text not JUST actual links. Lots of linking sites don't allow full hyperlinking and only allow "coded" text links. Be nice to be able to just highlight the text links and add all to the download manager.
2. Add an option to limit download speed. When downloading mulitple files, Downthemall uses max bandwidth. This uses up ALL your available bandwidth making it difficult to do any browsing, emailing, VOIP, or gaming at the same time while you are d/ling.
3. Build a scheduler into the addon. So you could load up your manager and have it automatically start at specific times like you can with uTorrent.
This add-on rocks and these above suggestions would only make an already awesome add-on even better.

Hi & thanks to the creators.
This extension of FF is not bad, but it lacks a speed limitator to fastly browse the web when some files are in downloading.
It lacks also a feature that will allow to download and automatically organize files in different folders according to their extensions.

Had this on my main box about 3 days into its arrival, and i have been really impressed. easy to manage the lists (try to get real video copy, not just link), since many sites later remove items , leaving you with a dead , what coulda-been awesome song for just that moment! OH yes READ the whole advanced stuff for this and then you'll have no worries.

Ten dodatek jest najlepszym menedżerem pobierania plików. Ma prosty interfejs, dzięki któremu każdy się w nim połapie. Jednocześnie ma wiele funkcji dla zaawansowanych użytkowników. Pozwolił mi wykorzystać potęgę mojego łącza. W Firefoxie 3.0 prędkość pobierania nie przekraczała 140 Kb/s. W dodatku, pobieranie plików w Firefoxie rzadko sięgało tej granicy. W dTa! wiele razy prędkość pobierania sięgała 200 Kb/s!

This add-on takes a little tweaking if you want something other than the defaults, but it is worth it. I like being able to create my own filters, and it makes it very easy to back up my website to my hard drive. That is quite important since most of the other website backup tools aren't especially friendly to database based websites and are harder to tweak.

very good addon, you should add a download status bar feature so yours can easily see what they are downloading whilst surfing, also use the download technology to speed up video streaming like SpeedBit Video Accelerator.

Note when downloading big files that both filesize and hash might be reported incorrectly even tho the file is an exact copy and the hash match external tools. Otherwise great.

I'm a long user,.downthemall is the most simple to use, yet powerfull. When the others the so called rich feature download accelerator failed to download certain sites, downthemall manage to handle it very well.
but recent updates has gone wrong,..dta is unresponsive, bug in progress bar. but i still use it though,.it's still one of the best ever.

This is the best addon I have. I have not had a seconds problem with it since I have had it. I would only like to ask the developers for one addition. The ability to add permanent items in one click download. or a seperate permanent list. I often have to re assign an often used folder eg: programs, after downloading about 5 other types of things. Thank you for your brilliant addon. Cheers.

i wish DTA comes with speed cut, sometimes i need to preserve bandwidth for office co-workers
