One of my all time favorites. You don't need a bulk image downloader, or a pdf downloader, or whatever... this does it all and will break the download up into pieces... which drastically improves speed! I LOVE IT!

This is a great program, in my opinion the best about downloading with all the features you'll expect and more. I had to get back to version 1.0.4 from 1.1.0 since I was getting a delay when starting the downloads and make Firefox non-responsive for a long time. Also, they took out the option to "close the source tab when downthemall starts", which is a great feature I want. I don’t understand why they took it out. For the rest is extremely great and effective.

Generally works very well, but very large downloads e.g. 1GB or so cause Firefox to hang at the start of the download for an annoying length of time (maybe 30 seconds or so).

Great program that does exactly what its advertised and does it very well. Don't bother with other download managers that spam you to death about spending money on a "premium" version when this one does it all already.

Saving many files and images from links is obviously faster. In Preferences>Filters, I can add new file types. It's a true life saver for Linux user like myself.

Use this add on in combination with the "FlashGot" extension if you have any problems. This way, you have a ton more breathing room and ways to add downloads than you did on its own.

Best download manager/accelerator ever period. Plus its a must have add-on. I love use Down them all, I would never use another downloader again. Although right now, DownThemAll isn't compatible with Firefox 37.5 beta 4. Please try to work on a compatibility patch as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

The reason I downloaded this software was to mass download files from a Government (USGS) site where the files are in many small subdirectories. So there's my first complaint. I realize it could open a can of worms (and a lot of infinite loops)to download every link to infinity, but it ought to be able to go a couple of levels deep. By the time I navigate to the right subdirectory, I may as well just manually download the files. Also, there doesn't seem to be any easy way to abort downloads, and why on earth does it keep a tally of previous downloads that are irrelevant to the current job?

On the plus side, I was able to create a list of target files, put it on a Web page, and once I had that, the downloads are fast and smooth. So it's a keeper. For straight linked files it should work fine. The Help pages need to be a lot more detailed, however. But I had to jump through a lot of very complex hoops a casual user would not be able to do in order to do what I wanted. Being able to access subdirectories to a few levels deep would have made things a lot simpler.

downthemall is top-drawing and must for firefox but if they increase the max concurrent downloads from 10 to around double it will b nice xpecting it in the future versions of DTA and no more complaints recommended
