Been using it over the week, first day it saved me hours of monotonous clicking on a page that didn't have FTP support but had thousands of small single files I wanted. It then saved me hours the next day saving images from an image board, even across multiple pages/threads using batch descriptors. DTA has found itself a permanent place in my addons page.

Downthemall is great for downloading pictures from forums, photo sharing sites etc. I have used it a lot over the years. There is an issue I have had where I could not download certain links with it and had to use the built in downloader but for downloading lots of content integrated into sites, its great. Even sites that don't let you right click items to download.

Truly an indispensable add-on! I really like the dTaOneClick! feature. Only single "sigh" moment came when using the shortcut link in the Slide Notification which opens the folder where the file is located, but it doesn't focus on it, so it has to be manually located. Strange because by using the Manager and right-clicking on the file then selecting 'Open Directory' does it correctly (opens folder and selects the file).

It’s so perfect that I encouraged to try the beta version. I like it, it’s beautiful. But I think it would be nice if it was possible to open the manager window in a tab or at least there was an about-page for it.

EDIT: I love open source softwares! Searching the source I could find how to open DTA Manager in a tab: "chrome://dta/content/dta/manager.xul" :D

Nice add-on! Lightweight, yet effective.

Suggestion: Instead of the download manager being a separate window, how about making it into a status bar or sidebar or a tab based one. Ensures hassle free browsing :)

Can you add an accelerator to this to boost the download speed?
And have this to be more accepted to other sites to download videos and software cause some sites i try to use this, for example rapidgator, it comes up as an error and will not download it. And on putlocker, it worked for awhile then just stopped
