Coming from Opera, this is the perfect replacement for its integrated download manager. While some stuff (like the bit-torrent download) is missing, you make up for it with other features like the amazing filter possibilities.
The reason why it only gets 4 stars is the window, that always opens with its use. I would have loved to pin it as an app-tab, but after I read that in your bug-tracker, that it would never happen, I can't give a full rating for the extension.

Ever since FF v20.0 Priivate Browsing: DTA cannot download email attachement. It just hang there. But the browse build in downloader works on email attachment. Verified in Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, Fastmail.

This is the best download manager I have ever used. Very easy to use, very efficient. One of the main reasons i'm staying with firefox instead of going to Chrome.

The limit feature doesn't work, DownThemAll will show that the speed is being limited but my actual line speed is still being fully utilized.

Good software but require some feature
1. Sorting
2. Should be able to show real address e.g. www.abc.com/download/236 redirect to server3.abc.com/xcfdfds32dfs/filename.zip
It should able to show the latter too (Now cant).
3. Should really be able to manage server
3.1 Add more depth: now it cant set server3.abc.com (it'll be abc.com instead) why not? Just let it - and I suggest you choose regular expression instead of wildcard pattern.
3.2 MUST compare with real address [2]
- which makes us can manage 1 connection per server in same domain. No need to so smart that guess server3.abc.com is abc.com so cut it as abc.com while abc.co.xx is abc.co.xx. Just receive user input. We know what we did.

This is a very good software....it is a must add application for firefox....my downloads were only 300-400 KB/s but after this I was able to download 1.7 GB file in 1.5 MB/s and the download completed in 12 minutes....I would want to rate it more than 10 stars... :)

Usually, we find that bigger sized photos are linked through thumbnails. This addon is unable to download those larger photos. Any workarounds?

Design is a bit "heavy", but great functionality.
Need to do to addon turned off without restarting. It's helpful for weak computers

Very useful to download multiple files from a single page when links are listed. Don't have to go link-by-link...saves a lot of time. Thank you!

This is a really useful add-on and the second one I install on any FF browser. Some web sites do not like multi-part downloads, such as rapidshare, so will not work with DTA however it is very easy to select to use the standard FF downloader for these sites. You can have multiple folder locations for downloads and this helps keeping your downloads organised. I have been using this add-on for years and find it very reliable. FF would not be the same for me without this.
