very bad. It completely messes up mp3 files, so that they can't be played back after uploading.
I reinstalled codecs and stuff, took me days to figure out that the problem is the ftp client.
Then I switched to filezilla and the mp3s played perfectly.
Thats not acceptable sorry, otherwise its quite easy to use.

Con FF 3.5 No se conecta a ningun FTP usando proxy, porque en vez de configurar un proxy para FireFTP 1.0.5 no coje la configuracion del proxy de FF.

Couldn't search FTP sites for files. I am not seeing the usefulness of this over simply viewing and FTP site in my browser. Hmm.

I love FireFTP, I have been using it for a little over a year and have not had one problem on any of my computers. Mac or PC.

I do not have a very complicated website so I have not pushed this to its limits, however, I have found this program easy to setup and to use. I have not had any problems with it whatsoever.

Using FireFTP 1.0.5 with Firefox 3.5.2 on Windows XP Pro, it regularly forgets to upload files. I select and drag (for example) 2 folders, and when it says it's finished, I enter the freshly uploaded versions of those folders and find that half the files are missing. I'm afraid that until this is fixed, I can't consider it production quality and will have to revert to FileZilla (entering passwords every time due to its insecure password storage).

Great addon! I prefer FireFTP over any FTP client, and I especially like its cross-platform compatibility and its freeness (in all senses :)

I also have a suggestion I'd like to post, but since there's no feedback form on the FireFTP site, I'll post it here.

I recently had to create a new profile in FIrefox, and I needed to backup and import my FireFTP settings from my old profile. This worked flawlessly, except it didn't save the programs I use to open files with when you right-click a file and Open with. I'd like to see an option on the backup form to save default applications.

It isn't exactly a problem, but I've had to reset these settings for the fourth time now, once when installing on Windows, once on Linux, once on a reset Firefox profile on Linux, and now on a reset profile on Windows. I'd really appreciate backing up of default programs!

Thanks

This is the first problem I've had, and FireFTP is hands-down the best FTP client I've ever used.

The following is a bug report. I know you're not supposed to, but the author site has no way to provide feedback, so I'm kinda stuck...

I'm having a problem using the up/down arrows keys in the local and remote folder browsing windows. If I mouse-click an item, then use the arrows to change the highlighted file, it moves one element and loses focus (as if I tabbed away).

However unlike tab, the focus simply disappears, and I have to tab or mouseclick to do anything with the arrow keys again.

I believe the problem started with my Firefox update to 3.5.1.
