Nice add-on. Would be useful to be able to set the client area (not the whole window) for testing of iPhone apps.

I like the idea but I wish there was a "make this the default size on opening Firefox" tool included. That's what I'm looking for. I have two monitors and I cannot get the browser window (Mac) to fully cover my 1600 x 1024 window. Now I can go to the lower-right to enlarge it, but I can also go to the upper left and just push the green button.

Great add-on for web development! I sometimes forget that people don't all have large and wide screens. This helps me view a page in different sizes.

I likeit, it's light and handy. Though I was looking for something different, that is, an add-on that blocks sites from resizing the browser window without permission, well, this one doesn't prevent that, but is sure makse it easier to fix it.

A handy Addon!!
However there's still a room for improvement.
Able to give an alias name to the defined size. Sometime you might want to use a certain size for specific website.

Nice tool like others, but I miss the option to save the screen position, that would be really helpful!

Simple, but works very well. Great for people like me who share a desktop...

Please consider adding a context menu for this extension. One of the great uses of "YAWR" is to escape poorly sized fixed pop-up windows (where the content doesn't fit and there are no scroll bars -- doh).

The extension is great, I was using 'Yet another resizer' and now I'm missing the option of resize the window in the contextual menu, and, if is possible, an option to disable the extension in the status bar...

Thanks

This is a great add-on I used with FF and TB till I found a better one, a software with the name WinSplit.
It is one software with which I can resize all windows of all software.

This is great for use on my new widescreen monitor, and I love that I can customize to exactly the various sizes I want to use.

I use it to size one smaller window for my RSS aggregator, and one bigger window for the pages the aggregator opens for me.

It's also handy to have to set a standard size for a single open browser window. Many pages are simply hard to read when maximized on a widescreen monitor.

Some one said it wouldn't be useful for an ordinary surfer... And here I say it work for me.
The annoying habbit of Firefox to open itself the way it wants and not you choose is really annoying...
Your addon solves that problem just fine. Thanks!

As a web designer, you have to make sure that your website caters to all kinds of screen resolutions. I essentially work toward 800x600 and up. It looks like user Death.stick didn't really think ahead before writing his review (or downloading the add-on). This extension doesn't claim to be anything it isn't, and nobody who doesn't need it is going to download it, so his review is completely unnecessary. Unfortunately, he decided to cite common sense as a review with a poor grade, rather than putting it on the Discussions board, where it belongs.

Aside from pop up ads and flashing banners, few things are more annoying to me than a page that resizes my main window. Occasionally someone will violate the rules of good sense and web design and resizes the main window without warning you (good sense and web design suggests that if a site resizes your window, it should first spawn a new window with the dimensions that the designers want). I mean having a page full screen is nice, but I kind of like to be able to see things like my IM windows (the "IM windows always on top" option is frequently more trouble than it's worth in my case) and my taskbar. By being able to save your favorite size, you can quickly undo what the poor sense of a bad web designer did.

I guess it would be useful for something according to the other reviews, if your not developing web pages don't download. It will be completely useless.
