This is the best you can find for putting different signatures at choice. All other addons that I have tried had severe flaws. For example the "signature switch" does not allow you to put your signature before the quoted reply but it puts it at the end of the thread. Many thanks to the people who made this addon.

Since upgrading to Tbird 102, image links in my signatures are no longer working. Can anyone advise on a fix?

After installation of TB 102.3.2 Quicktext was disabled. Solution:
Add Quicktext again. My settings were retained.

Is there a solution or new version of Quicktext available for the latest sept'26 update of Thunderbird? It would be pity to miss all the fine templates. Yes there is the easy solution to add the Quicktext add on to the new version Thunderbird. You will find all your existing templates. Great

does not work with latest version of TB
Menupoint available after faking version-manifest.
But nothing available (even if active to show)

Excellent - using as a substitute for Thunderbird Signatures and also for some commonly used phrases and paragraphs. In both cases flexibility is good.
Needs more clarity about how to use images stored on local volume - I reverted to using an https:// link so all good

Fantastic extension! But there is a problem: when I try to insert a special character using the numeric keypad (for example the character "²" - ALT + 0178) and in Quicktext I have associated the shortcut ALT + 1 when I type the sequence I am inserted the text associated with ALT + 1 and therefore I cannot insert the character "²"

It seems to be a great add-on, I would definitely use it if I could, unfortunately I just can't cause it doesn't allow me to use Bold, Italic or change the height of the letters on my model emails in a easy way.
If this was added I would definitely use it either in my personal computer and in my company computers.

John, You say that "The bug is solved: Version 4.2 will no longer be shipped to TB91 users. Please re-enable auto updates." BUT what if QuickText 4.2 has already been automatically installed on TB91, as is the case for me. That is, the Signatures toolbar has disappeared. Thanks. Richard

I did not go into more details, as you said you had installed 4.1 manually on that system again, which is what is needed to be done.

Every TB91 system which got auto updated to 4.2 has to revert back to 4.1. The version 4.2 is for Thunderbird 102 and I made an error by shipping it to TB91 users. That is fixed now and will not happen again.

Same problem on my dad's computer (mine had not upgraded yet).
Solved by returning to 4.1, and blocking auto-updates, until the bug is solved.
