This is the most important add-on I seen to date for my private life and work as a graphic designer. It really helps in downloading any file fast and with pausing if required, along the way. This makes the web downloading faster to use, opening doors for open communities downloading large legal files over the Internet. In the same way as Firefox, it helps me enjoy a better web, forever.

Pros:
1- One of the best download mangers you can find for free.
2- Fast and full of features
3- simple interface and easy to use
Cons:
1- Sometimes gets closed with firefox and you might lose your download process.
2- It needs more documentation on creating your own anti-containers
3- should not support pause option if it's not supported on the server.
Anyway, It's a MUST HAVE add-on and I LOVE IT!!!

I can hardly remember a time without this add-on; the moment I see Firefox installed on a system without this, I'm tempted to get it. And it goes without saying that this little application has saved my life a million times now.
Now, as a download manager, it's obvious that it manages your downloads, aids in pausing them if the internet link is broken, and has an option to auto-rename all the files before actually getting them. Download Managers are especially useful when downloads in various major browsers tend to get corrupted, either because of the server hosting them or because you have slow internet. But very few people know of its many interesting uses.
For instance, in a Third World like India, internet disconnection out of the blue is commmon place. That doesn't help when you're spending hours of research online and need the other related pages. Simply rightclicking and selecting "DownThemAll" helps downloading ALL the related pages and content within seconds for offline viewing, just in case, or even on the move (in short: yes, this works better than manual "Save Page As" on every open tab).
Must have add-on in every system!

i have using it for like 6 or 7 years when i still had a P3 system
Now i have upgraded but my Browser choice and its no 1 extension is the same

This is an awesome time saving bug free down loader, it is always the first add on i install on new versions of firefox/aurora/nightly/waterfox, you wont be dissapointed, i would qualify it as essential and if you ask me it should be an integrated part of this browser(makes it that much better!)

First of all i like to thanks the creators Nils Maier, Federico Parodi, Stefano Verna for creating such useful app downthemall it helps me really for fast downloading as my connection is slow but by this add on i am very happy and now i can download fast

The perfect add-on, support what i need for downloading movie, music or program just one touching. Possibble to pause and start again. I like this browser makes my life easier...

When you sit for a download the biggest problem occurring to users is that they have very less amount of time. In such a situation, you need a proper download manager. I was, am and will be always happy as the Exciting Firefox offers a great Download Manager Add-on – ‘ DownThemAll’. This add-on is just not a substitute for your disease of irritation but also a compatible add-on which helps the mozilla to beat all the rest of Browsers. :-)

Essential to me everyday in Africa, with limited internet meaning many things need to be read later (not online), downloaded in spurts as power or lines cut randomly, and less fortnuate others without access to the net depend on me to find them that juicy bit of information or that necessary driver. The solid performance and picking up of files from where they left off makes this a pleasure to even pay for in gratitude occasionally, though love that I'm not forced to.

This is one of those addons that would make my browsing boring were it not for them. Whenever I download something big, unless the server doesn't play well with DTA, it'll be ready and waiting in my hard drive much faster than with regular download.

I solved one problem but I am still plagued by another..
I am running DTA v2.0.13 with Firefox 11.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1. I had problems with renaming masks. The default mask would disappear after the first time I used DTA in a browsing session. I had to re-enter the mask for each subsequent download. I discovered that this bug is due to setting "Dropdown Menus" to "0" (zero) in the "Privacy" tab of the DTA Preferences menu. I now set "Dropdown Menus" to "15" and my mask issue is resolved.
However, I am still encountering a random issue with the file time set to some downloaded files. I want all file times set to the time I download the file. In the "Advanced" tab of the DTA Preferences menu is a setting "Set file time to last modified time (server) or time of queuing". Regardless of whether I check the box in that setting or not, sometimes my downloaded files are set to the time I download the file and sometimes the file time is set to some other time which, I assume, is the server time. I sort my files according to Date in Windows Explorer and I expect the newest downloaded files to be at the top of the list. DTA always worked as expected in this regard (I go way, way back with DTA) but I am struggling to resolve this issue that seems to happen randomly. If anyone can explain this I would appreciate it tremendously.

For me DowmThemAll is the perfect add-on, because i can download easily all the biggest files around the web without the problems of desconnections, i can resume download at any time. so i don’t care anymore getting all files i needs. I really apreciate it. excuses my english.!! i do my best!

DownThemAll is for me the best add-on for Firefox. One click and I can download every single image or video as fast as it’s possible. If you want to download e.g. more than one image you can select them and click download. It’s perfect add-on.
