Awesome Addon... Would be MORE AWESOME if in the new version for FF4 B2 and beyond there would be be an option to open the DTA Manager window inside an APP TAB (rather than a new window!)

Thx

Gary

Am unable to use filters to guide specific files to specific download destinations. I am not shown any such option of download directory at all...
Just filter names and filter extensions are shown, no destination directory!!

very good program.

my download speed was 50kb/s today for some reason and after i installed this program it went all the way up to 600+ kb/s. @50 kb/s it would take 26mins to download a 100mb file but with the program it too me less than 3 minutes

i'd recommend it to everyone who wants to download a file quicky.

I think you've done a very complete job of iplemting this new musical program. It will only open opportunities better programs in the future. Though I haven't had a chance to lisfen to "Oasis" yet, I am very excited about entering with my camel "Joe" (he he he)

This extensions is not suitable for (home)networks.
When trying to store files of a few MB's DTA gives file access error in virtually all attempts tried.

Besides that the download speed is ABSOLUTELY NOT 4 times higher than normal as is advertised.
This addon has a sort of big mythical status.

Nevertheless it's worth trying. A little bit better performance on networks and it would be a sure 5 stars rating.

If you want a Firefox 4.0 Beta compatible DownThemAll, then go to code.downthemall.net and install downthemall-nightly.xpi from nightly directory :)

DownThemAll is still a great add-on but recently one can no longer use it to download rapidshare files (as of 7-12-2010). That is something that should be more openly acknowledged in these forums.

Having been able to successfully use DTA to download these files in the past I was mystified as to why every recent attempt ended in downloading simple .html links instead of the .rar files I was trying to download. In researching the problem I found a forum entry saying that one had to enable 3rd party cookies to solve the issue. That didn't work for me.

Then I found an entry from an official Firefox representative that said it is not a DownThemAll problem but the fact that some download sites now will not allow downloading in pieces.

Well, that may not be a technical bug in DTA, but if one can no longer use DTA for a major downloading institutiion like Rapidshare then that does indeed become a DTA problem because it significantly diminishes the usefulness of DTA.. At least it does for me. If that doesn't meet that definition of a problem then I don't know what does.
