excellent addon, one of my most frequently used addons, i would love to have a funtion where it can minimize into the browser

I regret DTA not having the function to minimize into the browser, to hide the window while downlaoding, just like the default download system of firefox (toggled with CTRL+J). It would be a great function.

When will you have this updated to work with Firefox 4.0b6pre? I like to use the latest beta of Minefield and it updates automatically from Firefox. Wheat is your plan to stay up with the latest beta versions. Thanks for the fine work and sure would like to be able to use DownLoadThemAll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@nomec, get the beta version from their homepage. I installed it exactly because it has speed limiting and it works excellently.

Feature add request:
download speed limit. It downloads so fast I want to limit it to only part of my connection sometimes

I've been using this add-on for at least one or two years and it still holds up. It's so customizable and I love the ability to set naming patterns. I'd say I've downloaded tens if not hundreds of thousands of files with the help of DownThemAll. Thanks for this excellent add-on :)

I wanted a downloader that would do multi-part so I could get around speed caps set by some download servers, and I came across this :) But I got my first corrupted download - the DirectX June 2010 Redistributable. The digital signature on it failed and the md5 was different on it from a normal 1 connection download. It wasn't until some hair-tearing moments and wasted bandwidth until I realised Downthemall was at fault.

Hope you get this fixed, it's going to be uninstalled for now.

I use it long time (2-3 years?) and it works perfect all the time.
It does what I need.
Tonight it handled successfully over 32 000 downloads.
Awesome.

This extension is okay for general downloads. I however have just two issues with it.
1. Regular download managers add additional sections when a section is done but this one doesn't.
2. The extension requires we use MinTrayR, another extension written by the author in order to minimize to the tray. This does not allow users to choose which extension they prefer to use for such purpose. Whatever happened to giving the user flexibility and choice?

And for the reference, the minimize to tray extension I use is MinimizeToTray Plus. I've got the author's MinTrayR but it is incompatible and it keeps getting disabled.

I believe these issues should be fixed in the next release otherwise we're much better off using stand-alone download managers.

you just have to select if you want to download 1) embedded images, etc 2) links
if you select links, it will download the LINKS. not the images.
