I may be reading the description wrong but switching tabs by scrolling with the mouse wheel in the tab bar is a FF default. Why would I need this add-on?

This add-on doesn't suite for me. I'd rather use opera-like tab switching (by holding down the right mouse button and scroll between tabs up and down)
But I can't find it.
maybe you can add this option?

This is a really nice add-on.

I find the defaults to be the very *opposite* of my intuition, however. Maybe people with other cultural backgrounds that read from right-to-left might find it more intuitive, I don't know. But it's certainly backwards to me.

Hey, this is one of the best addons ever made! At least for me. Extra comfortable style of looking through tabs! One question: Is there going to be an upadate for Firefox 3.6? Because it would be grat if there will be a new compatible version :)

Today (07.01.2010) " Tab Wheel Scroll 20090618" installed, under attitudes the following error message emerges:

XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: Nicht definierte Entität
Adresse: chrome://tabscroll/content/options.xul
Zeile Nr. 18, Spalte 13:

What can be done, if I can do as a layman anything at all? One sees from each other….

This is exactly what I wanted. In Linux, its default scrolling direction is all right, as in other applications like Nautilus or Konqueror. Thank you for this great add-on.

Good. But there's one problem. It scrolls in the reverse direction by default!

This extension is supposed to do one thing good, but it messed up on that... though it does provide the option to reverse this, so it's all good.

So close, yet so far away still. Please, PLEASE add the ability to assign either a mouse or key for use with the wheel so you can change tabs while inside of a page your browsing.

Excellent. Simple and efficient. Disable scrolling in tab mix plus to make this addon work properly

I have the same problem since 2 monthes. Even after uninstalling of all other ad-ons. I use still FF 3.0.13

This is a great idea by itself, but I cannot access the preferences window - it says something about a XML error. Manually editing options.xul and replacing all & with & makes it at least usable, though the dialog still has no informative labels.

I love this extension. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to scroll through tabs without the focus changing from the current tab until I click on the tab I want to give focus. Changing the focus from tab to tab to tab slows the whole scrolling experience. Thanks for this extension, though. It rocks!

I'd like it better if it could be combined with another button, like right click plus scroll from anywhere on the screen to switch the tabs, like Avant/Orca

I second this request, or MIDDLE_MOUSE + scroll
(I don't know the correct word for the wheel button)

Ideally, it would be nice to chose from different alternatives.
