One step closer to complete integration to Gnome. It's fantastic. The defaults are odd, though, up-scroll should be left and down-scroll should be right.

A great addon, hopefully it will get integrated in the default install :), great work!
On second note I just wanted to add that this also works with Firefox 10.0a1 (not thoroughly tested for mem leaks/crashes)
1. download the xpi
2. rename it to zip
3. change the install.rdf to contain maxversion 10.*
4. rename it back to xpi
5. drop it on firefox to install

Works exactly as expected- you can even scroll when the mouse is on the blank space next to the tabs. This is the one feature I missed from Chrome on Linux, and this provides me a way to just not care. XD

Very simple and obvious options, as well. I'm giving this 4 stars because it's version-dependent.

This is a great extension, but could you please make this version independent? Firefox 6.0 is out and it doesn't work anymore.

Implementing a really useful feature with exactly those options that are necessary. Thanks!

Thank You for this it's a great addon I use a lot now. I used Tab Kit before FF 4.0 & 5.0 which includes this as a feature but no longer supported with the latest browser. Now to get tree style tabs with a scrolling feature I have to use "Tree style tabs" with this addon. I didn't realizes how dependent I was until I didn't have the feature anymore. Thanks for the great work!!! much appreciated.

Restored tab wheel scrolling from v3 to v4. Simple, fast, painless.

Could you, please, make it restartless?

Works fine with Firefox 4.0b7. Why is the default setting set to scroll down = switch to left tab? Totally confusing.

This add-on makes the tab contents visible as you scroll--scrolls the whole page, not just the tab itself. A huge improvement!

It seems to work like a charm with latest firefox beta (b5). You should consider to update the install.rdf

Très sympa cette extension. Étant donné que c'est possible de faire la même chose en naviguant dans nautilus c'est bien sympa de l'avoir sur Firefox aussi !

Spiffing! Been waiting for an add-on to provide tab scrolling with the mouse ever since I got Thunderbird 3.0 beta.

Many thanks.

Is there a way you can make it to scroll with ur mouse anywhere on the page(not just when it's hovering over the tabs bar)?

kiwichick - i dont know if scrolling to swtich tabs is a default option in ff, i use tab mix plus and enable it through that. this addon is invaluable however because i HATE the scroling to loop around at the left and the right - this addon enables you to scroll to each side and stop there so if you know you have a tab on the far left that you want to get to you just mouse over the tab bar and scroll up (or down depending how you set it) a random amount and it stops on the far left tab. I'm tired and this is a sucky explanation but the ability to stop the scrolling behaviour wrapping around is well worth this addon (it SHOULD be a default option in ff, if not an option in tmp), to me at least.
