R O K O G D L totalmente de acuerdo, pero hay quien no sabe adaptarse y se complica la existencia... saludos.

CESAR, YO TUVE EL MISMO PROBLEMA CON EL DICCIONARIO DE ESPAÑOL Y ME TUVE QUE DESCARGAR LA VERSIÓN ANTERIOR... HAS ENCONTRADO ALGUNA SOLUCIÓN DIFERENTE??

Excelente, el mejor diccionario en español, jamás verás argentinismos ni mejicanismos.

O sea que la palabra Chocolate, Aguacate, Tomate y varios otros mexicanismos mas no aparecen? y entonces "flipar" de "Flip out", "aparcar" de "Parking" y muchos otros anglicismos usados en España si aparecen?

Me descargue la ultima actualizacion de firefox y no admite el diccionario de espñol (españa). En version anterior lo tenia junto con otros tres mas. Alguien sabe como remediarlo o me he de instalar la version vieja de firefox. Y respecto al comentario de que no hay mexicanismos ni argentinismos es porque para eso te descargas la version de españa y no la de latinoamerica en cualquier tipo de corrector ortografico.

Si en algún momento se descubre alguna deficiencia en la base de datos de este útil complemento, el proyecto rla-es (recusos lingüísticos abiertos) albergado en la Forja de RedIRIS se antoja como el lugar adecuado en el que exponerla. Espero que señalar la existencia de este punto de contribución y referencia permita aumentar la precisión de la diccionario e incentivar nuevas actualizaciones de este diccionario.

estaría bueno si se agregan los acentos por regla ortográfica. es decir: camión, avión, reunión... todo lo terminado en "ión" lleva acento en la ó. y si hay alguna pagina para hacer estos aportes de correcciones, no la he encontrado...

Try this (assume you are on Windows):
1.In Firefox go to tools>options>main. There make sure you have it selected to "ask me whether to save the file" option. Do ok
2.optional (just to make sure no issue) close Firefox and try now to download.
3. install
It may not work, there are other things you can do but it requires a little more TS which this does not belong to this thread (this is not a forum). Please feel free to check Forums or if you wish feel free to email me.

Muy bueno, basta pulsar el botón derecho de tu mouse y escoger la lengua que estas usando, luego podrás ver los errores que cometes y corregirlos con las sugerencias que te da el programa, muy útil.

bueno, y si estoy usando como 5 diccionarios y escribo en cinco idiomas, firefox siempre reconocerá todas palabras y frases de cada lengua?

Para wlcp. Para utilizar los Diccionarios solo basta instalarlos. Luego en el espacio dónde escribes un texto, das botón derecho y pones "Revisar ortografía", luego eliges el idioma que quieras.
En tanto al mismo, es excelente. Siempre que instalo Firefox en una PC le agrego el diccionario.

Ejem, ahora va a sonar muy tonto...
Soy nueva de Firefox, y he instalado este diccionario..pero cómo se hace con ésto? No sé muy bien cómo se usa... Muchas gracias en adelante por las ayudas! :)

What can I say - it's an excellent resource and for me invaluable tool.
Now, I'm not too sure whether this constitutes "complaining or ranting about compatibility issues" but it seems pertinent to point out a caveat to the clear accompanying statement, according to which this particular version works with Firefox 2.0 – 3.0pre. I believe it should also be stressed that it *doesn't* work with the 3.0 beta and RC versions, and moreover, that it is extremely likely incompatible with the (soon to be released) final 3.0 version. In other words: if you truly need this Spanish dictionary, stick to FF 2.0 (or better yet - help out developing a compatible release for this very valuable dictionary).
