Great add on that works exactly as it says in Thunderbird/Lightning 2. To the point where (finally) I can just about ditch Outlook.
Desperate now for a version for Thunderbird 3 so that I can upgrade. Any news?

Toll! Sollte in der Zukunft auch lokale Kalender aus iCal und Sunbird einbinden können.

Great Job!! It's all the things that I need. I really want the simply solution to transfer google calendars into Mozilla Sunbird, then I can receive simply notification for events.
Thank you for your great great job. It helps me a lot.

@cimenta: For use with nightly builds of Lightning / Sunbird, you must use the version of gdata-provider.xpi found on FTP in the same directory as the Lightning nightly (gdata-provider 0.6pre for current nightlies of Sunbird/Lightning 1.0pre), not the one found here.

Hi,
I am using Provider 0.6pre and Lightning 1.0pre I followed the great step by step how-to "Accessing your Calendar" but I get only "the calendar xyz is momentarily not available" with the yellow icon on right side. Any idea how to make it work? Thank you. R

Excellent extension. I use Google calendar, but do not want to be constantly logged in in the browser. This solves my problems and integrates my messaging into one application.
