If after updating, the calendar doesn't work, you may need to remove your google calendar and add it again. That way, it worked for me after updating to 1.0.2.

Its been a bumpy couple of weeks without my google calendar but all is back to normal now. thanks to the Dev Philipp Kewisch, I know you had to update in order to keep up with google API changes, it was broken but now you fixed it.. thanks. and thanks to everybody else who helped get my calendar working again.
Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Thunderbird 31.2.0, Lightning 3.3.1
Awsome add on, will continue to use it as long as its supported.
and of course worth a donation :)
(no doubt there are still many bugs to iron out, but tottaly worth the bugs for this level of awsomeness)

Until now I have been very happy with Google Provider..... however, now it is refusing to allow me to write to my calendar - I can see it, I can write on other devices and it updates, but in Lightning it is essentially read-only. The status of the calendar tells me it is momentarily not available, but I think after 2 days this is no longer "momentarily"! It also insists I have 25 reminders to address going back to September but it won't let me dismiss them, so they keep returning and slowing down my whole Thunderbird experience. Hope this is only a momentary glitch?

You have delete your Google calendar from Thunderbird and then reinstall it. See:

Probably a good idea to include information of this sort when releasing an update that requires user action.

A few days ago I noticed my Google calendar in Thunderbird was no longer working. I did notice it would sometimes come and go. Finally tried to figure out what was going on and now I see there was a major new version pushed recently, apparently with a variety of intermittent problems.
I tried to downgrade to 0.32 but it failed with some obscure javascript error in what appeared to be a tempoary .js file. Bottom line, couldn't get 0.32 to work again (TB version 31.2.0). Gave up. Guess I'm stuck waiting for a 1.0.x version that actually works.
With 1.0.2 I get NO calendar information at all from Google. All my other calendars seem to work fine.

I like this because when it works it works great; I have 2 installations and one works fine, the other not. Both are version 1.0.2 - not sure why one works bu tno tthe other?

Unfortunally Provider for Google Calendar 1.02 isn't working so I stepped back to vs. 0.32 - although seems to be a problem later on in November.

Danke für das schnelle und jetzt offenbar finale Fixen. Leider klappt das Überweisen einer Spende nicht mit meinem dt. PP-Account. Die Seite nimmt meine Logins nicht an.

Was great but last two updates have rendered this add on useless. Currently, adding a new calendar (and it has been necessary to re-add calendars since the last update) causes Thunderbird to crash. Have had to use safe mode to restart Thunderbird at all. Removing until working update is published.

Installed 1.0.2. It is still totally broken - it locks up everything to do with Google Calendars.

Struggled for a few days, but with Thunderbird 31.2.0 and Lightning 3.3.1 everything seems to be back to normal. Without my google calendars in Thunderbird I am lost! Just hoping it will stay this way.

Have had to disable all calendars in order to have access to my email. This latest Provider update has taken this long-time Thunderbird user to the edge. I guess I will have to look for another program.
I tried to roll back to version 0.32 but it would not work for me with Thunderbird 24.6.0. (Got an error message to that effect and it would not install.) Is there a workaround to that? It seems like others in this thread have rolled back successfully.

Was a brilliant addon then the last two updates have completely broken all functionality. Stops thunderbird from starting up by freezing the entire program.

After 1.0.2 my normal gmail is working fine, but still problems with Google Apps account. Displaying a Yellow exclamation point my the calandar. It keeps popping up with old cal. reminders, but when i click dismiss, nothing happens. I can close the popup window, but it comes back every 30 mins.

I have been using this add-on for a couple of years now. It is the only thing which I have found which gives me read *and* write access to my Google calendars.
*However*, the 1.0.2 update seemed to break something. Whenever I tried to dismiss or snooze a reminder, I got "This item has recently been changed on the server..." and I am given a choice between "Discard my changes and reload" or "Submit my changes anyway". Whichever one I chose, I got the same reminders, and trying to snooze/dismiss them popped up the "Item has changed..." dialog again. Fortunately, I tried deleting the calendar and re-adding it and the problem went away.

Like others, 1.02 worked for a day, and then it stopped working. Rolled back to 0.32. Earlier version works fine. 5 stars for that version, zero for the later versions. It would be great to hear from the developer about what's causing all the problems.

Worked great before 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 is unreliable. 1.0.2 some calendars display, some display random events. Appreciate the great work by all the programmers. Just frustrating when you be come dependent on an add on and then an update and then it breaks.
