I looked under the bug fixes in previous versions of DownThemAll. It says an inactive resume/pause bug was fixed, but I'm still experiencing this problem. I can't pause or resume my downloads.

I've been a fan of this addon for quite a while now.. its one of my most used addon, and most suggested addon to new ie->firefox migrants

I recently got an idea which I think would do a lot good to this already great piece of s/w,
that, and Enqueued download may be set to resume at a given time (set by the user, like, start after X hrs from now, or "start at this time"

thanks again..
ciao

The most helpful add-on I've used! We have unlimited Broadband but we have just been hit with a AUP due to the company being took over. Larger downloads became impossible as we just got throttled. Thanks to this add-on we (my whole family) can now download and not loose any speed, bandwidth or anything. We used 2 other installed on pc apps, but they didn't help much. This is perfect and takes up little or no precious RAM. A huge thankyou!

Seriously, this utility is probably one of the most, if not just THE most, useful extension I've ever gotten for Firefox. For example: webpage links to 100 PDF's (law libraries, class stuff, whatever)... bam, this thing takes care of it. I love it, love it, love it. Thank you so much.

I find this extension very useful for mass-downloads. I've also some suggestions that I think could improve add-on reliability, the first of which I think is really important:
1_ Do not stop the downloads when the add-on status window is closed. Instead, when the user closes it, put an average download status percentage on the status bar, or only a button on the status bar to re-open the status window to see how downloads are going.
2_ (Optional) Also related to the upper suggestion, possible integration with the "Download Statusbar" add-on? For example a button on it which shows (as I said above) the average percentage of downloads done for all files in dta.

This program is wonderful. I never lave reviews but was installing this onto another machine and saw a few nasty people complaining that a spyware download manager would probably work better than DTA. CAN I saw these people are assholes here?

This software rocks. It does exactly what it says it will do and even better. RUDE people that try a program once, have some buggy machine and then insult a free software developer. Luckily you developers look the other way. THANKS for writing this. It helps tremendously

Great add-on and very very useful. But i would like to see an option that restarts the download if it times out or something because for some reason my downloads have been timing out recently using this program and i keep on having to hit 'pause' and them 'resume' again, and again.

Just a suggestions
Awesome add-on once again

Even on servers where there's a download cap of 500kbps, I STILL get 800+! And I know that's not a lie. This is an awesome tool. I recommend it all the time!

This is the best download accelerator I've ever used.

This is a very useful; addon. For large downloads it's a must. My only gripe is that it would benefit from a password manager when retarting from sites needing one.

I can't live without it. Great job! I download 2 or 3 GB per day and never had an issue. Make sure to setup the parameters correctly!

I needed to download a 7.26 gb file, and needed a download manager to make sure nothing wrong could go on during the download. I was downloading at roughly around 90-100kb/s so it took a little over a day. When i woke up in the morning it said 100% but server error. I searched the whole PC for any file over 7gb, nothing....I wasted a whole day on this for nothing, any other spyware filled download manager would probably do much better, dont waste your time with this if you are planning to download something big. Gave it 1 point for UI.

This is my favorite download accelerator so on, I just love when my download time decreases about 3 time and I get all my downloads so fast... But There is a minor bug in it :) when you restart it with few downloads on, sometimes it gets download counter reset, and when some of those downloads get downloaded, I get the count something like "-2/5", still nice add-on, but bug is a bug :P

Since having the DownThemAll! addon, all my downloads have been extremely fast. Just last night I downloaded a 500 MB file in just 15 minutes, something that would have taken me upwards of an hour with the regular Firefox download manager. The only complaint I have is that some sites don't support download managers, but most sites do. If you download lots of files, or even if you don't, this addon will allow you to enjoy the file much faster.

Best DL manager I've tried, and it's free w/ NO Spam...130mb file in little over 1 min., w/o extension took nearly 15 min!! Video tutorial on site to show how to use all the features! I don't usually donate to freeware makers or leave feedback b/c product ends up screwy but this time is an exception.
