i have been using Flashget+flashgot on my pc and not that i have a mac laptop i was looking for something similar. After looking for a long time and reading on many forums i stumbled on this sweet add-on. This actually does what Flashget+flashgot in one simple add-on!!!
It works really good and it is very simple. I love the filters :D downloading movies and pictures is so easy now :D
Goodbye right.click.download.single file :)
Thanks for this add-on! I will donate even soon when i get my salary, kinda poor now after Christmas hehe

Excellent!! Fast downloader. Its great when the website has many downloads but no "download all these" link.
You can add extensions like for zip downloads and PSP picture tubes, music, etc.
Would have given a 10 but the filters sometimes "disappear" in preferences. They're still there ... you just have to click on each "empty" line. Would have also been better if the preamble before you start adding the extensions were automatically inserted ... all those /\$) are a bit disconcerting. It's easier to click on another filter and just edit the caption and extensions to suit what you want to download.

I was just looking at a page full of over 100 downloads. I thought.. hmmm.. I wonder if firefox has an addon that could help me speed this up.. I'm blown away! I'm just sitting back, typing this and it's downloading the entire page on autopilot. Thanks guys!!!

After endless sufferings with Flashgot and various paid download managers I finally stumbled on this.
DownThemAll! leaves them all in the dust!I particularly like the pre-download filtering. I even donated some money to this guys which is the first for me! A must have.

This extension makes life easier in many ways.
There's only one thing missing and that's the ability to control it with keyboard shortcuts.
I don't directly use them but they are required to interface the control of the extension with mouse gestures.

It is great!Before installing it I downloaded with a maximum of 100 kb/s.Now I download 2 files simultaneously with 300 kb /s.

DownloadThemAll has more than doubled the speed of my current downloads. This is especially helpful for times when I need to download a linux distribution which can be several Gigabytes large. It also prevents the .iso files (CD images) from being damaged or corrupt. Now I don't have to wait forever. This is perfect!

I think this add on will be a great one to have if the developer can add a virus scanning option at the end of the download ... like the 'Safe Download' add on

WOW, is all i gotta say. i tried to DL nero upgrade 8 and it was gonna take me almost 3hrs to DL the whole file. Im running on 5mb DL and dual raptors at 10,000rpms. 3hrs just wasnt gonna cut it for me. So i went ahead and installed the DTALL extension. guess what...4 minutes and i was done. great add on.

I tried to download a video file of 265MB 5 times using the default download method built-in Firefox. Each time it would fail and interrupt the download after just 7% of the download progress. The estimated time shown was 45 minutes.
Then I installed DownThemAll and it immediately started the download with the highest possible speed. The time estimated for total download was around 25 minutes.Not even once was the download interrupted. It all worked great. EXCELLENT Add-on!
I fully recommend it.

Two things don't work (not implemented) which are my reason for iinstalling a downloadmanager at all!
1) I already had 1GB of a 3GB download. I had to throw it away and start downloading from scratch - Downthemall does NOT provide a resume option except for files it srated downloading itself
2) I get lots of server errors downloading this 3GB file. No problem - that's why I use a download manager, which retries until the file is there!
WRONG - I have to MANUALLY start the "resume" (retry), which I have to do quite frequently.
What do I have a download manager for if not to solve these exact two problems?! If everything already works anyway I don't really need one!

I use it all the time. I took a really hard look at the tool before writing this review to see if I had any suggestions, but even the limitations I thought were there are in fact dealt with.
