Hi,

This is a bug. There's a new version 2.0.5 that fixes the issue (if it doesn't, please report to me using the "issues" link above). You can get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gmail-conversation-view/versions/ or wait to be updated when the extension is approved.

Great Addon!

@arunsub just click on the button ">" above the Account list, on the left panel.

I didn't have global inbox enabled for my IMAP accounts (3 accounts) before I installed this addon. When I installed this addon, it created the global inbox. When I uninstalled this addon, it didn't remove the global inbox (I read the FAQ btw). I don't want the global inbox, but I couldn't find a way to disable global inbox. I'm using Thunderbird 5.0. If anyone has any solution, let me know.

I like this extension but it will hide headers and there is no way to enable / view them afaik with the exception of the "View using classic reader" option. One example is the user agent header. I am not referring to the add-on/extension but every Thunderbird, at least from version 5, has the option to display the user-agent header with the rest of the headers if you open about:config and set mailnews.headers.showUserAgent to true. Once I installed Thunderbird Conversations, this header is gone and I found the only way I can view it is if I click on "View using classic reader". That's my only gripe since, otherwise, this extension is great. I mean the cosmetics of it are nice to look at but even more importantly, it makes reading a thread a breeze. If it were not for the lack of headers and no way to configure which ones are shown (again, afaik) then I would rank this 5 stars.

Nice extension, is there any way to have converstions in reverse order? With the newest mail on top, like gmail.

I addicted to the mac like look and feel, so I tried some of the few that have already been updated. I recognized that the attachment display only works if you first view an e-mail in the default theme of tb using conversation. The next time it seems to work as well in the other themes...

Great Job, However not really usable in KDE yet: Mishaped button, too small font, does not take the theme color

In "regular" Thunderbird mode the Add-On BiDi mail enables RTL languages such as Hebrew,
but Conversations doesn't work like this, which makes it practically unusable for the time being.

I used to have support for bidiui, is it broken? Frankly if no one tells me, I can't figure out the support is broken. The bidi developers don't seem to care about conversations...

Conversation view is fantastic - now that I've grown accustomed to it, any other view seems deficient. The only problem is that many of the emails I send get attached to the wrong conversations. Will be 5 stars when fixed.

This is very useful add on, but it has a problem that 'between' column in thread pane does not show the display name in address book even if i checked 'Show only display name for people in my address book' in thunderbird option.

I just received a message to update to Thunderbird 5 in my MacBook, I was looking forward to this update to be able to enjoy the full experience of Thunderbird Conversations 2.0.3 (I've been using previous versions which were good, but this one had much better look).

Now, even I love this extension, it just seems to be having a problem in showin Attachments (perhaps this is happening only in the Mac version?)

For instance, what it is shown in the first screenshot of this add-on, it is not shown to me: https://static-cdn.addons.mozilla.net/img/uploads/previews/full/51/51374.png?modified=1291109007

There just doesn't show anything even I'm sure I have an attachment (and they even list in the menu: File -> Attachments ->

Besides that, this is an amazing extension and I'm glad to see its development moving forward :-)

Very functional addon but my only gripe about this is mails with fixed-width fonts are displayed with Arial font which screws up the formatting on some text-only reports.

Kindly provide this option for future releases..

hi, this is a very nice addon, transforming thunderbird into a program that is actually fun to use. but there should be a way to get rid of the monster avatar display. i'm trying to establish this in a company settings, and people will be put off by this.

2.0.3 disables this, you should be updated soon

There should be an option to do that...
Differently, in the quick reply box, I should right-click on text-area and uncheck the related menu item EACH time, for EACH message...
Annoying!

Provides a great conversation view, just like GMail.

But it has one Fatal Flaw: that default button says "reply all", and you have to click on the down arrow to get "reply". This is terrible, I just replied-all to 200 people on a company mailing list. Mistakes happen, and I will have to uninstall the addon if it doesn't help me prevent them.

Please go back to separate "Reply" and "Reply All" buttons.

This is like a whole new Thunderbird. It would be nice if the toolbar it uses were more native looking, and it feels a little slow, but for the most part I really like it.
