I've noticed today when starting T'Bird 149 that the last email in my inbox shows, but selecting any other folder after that does NOT show the latest email in that folder (it used to do that). I'm assuming this is new to version 7.0 which I'm also assuming I was updated to automatically. I'm also assuming it's this plugin that controlled the former (desired) behavior. I had considered it 5 stars previously, but now only 3 due to this issue. If it gets fixed, I'll also update to 5 stars. It's been a great plugin up to now. Thanks!
UPDATE: the developer has provided me with an excellent alternative solution to this problem. This plugin indeed is now only selecting the desired starting email for the Inbox, and it does that well. I've changed my review to 5 stars as version 7.0 does what it says it does.

Just installed on Thunderbird 115.3.3. I wanted to open T'bird using a local folder with the latest message showing. It's doing that perfectly.
I had been using another add-on to do this previously, but T'bird 115 broke it. Glad I found this replacement.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
