Copy Plain Text 0.3.3 does not install on Firefox 3.0.3 (Ubuntu Linux amd64). Any solutions?

If you like this extension, you might want to try PureText, a free utility that copies plain text from any Windows document, not just Web pages. You can download PureText from download.com.

I am a web developer/designer. I use this extension more than any others. It's a must for all web related workers.

Good extension, Most of the time I want the simple text copy that it provides.

On the other hand, sometimes I'd like to preserve tabs, html ..., and sugest that there be some way to do a standard copy or a copy HTML, perhaps with additional right menu options (Optional if desired), or perhaps as a Control Right menue varient

Good add-on! One request, could it also convert the "special" double and single quotes such as &ldquo and &rdquo to simply " and ' ... its a real pain because Terminal won't let me paste text copied containing those. special quotes: http://www.degraeve.com/reference/specialcharacters.php

There is a newer version (v.0.3.4) on author website that works with FF 3.0.x:

I dont know why it isn't updated on AMO.

Excellente extension à utiliser avec autocopy ... evite le clique droit coller ... mais pas encore disponible pour firefox 3
