FYI, Google Buzz has caused some problems with the preview feature. Turn off Buzz in your account settings to fix the problem for now. Great extension!

New version really sucks. 5.7 was fine - newer is not better.
It was fine with toolbar drops and listing.

0.6.1 seems to fix the login-problem so far but the interface of 0.5.x was much better! This long list in a non-resizable window is a bit clumsy to use
Wishlist: Would be nice to be able to re-order and/or to group accounts with seperators

Really like this addon. It works perfectly for me. What I find really comfortable is to be able to open the account in a background tab.

I used to love this extension but last update just broke everything.
If I keep the extension enabled, the first time I launch firefox, it will takes at least 4 minutes for the windows to show up (3 sec before ..).
The icon for Gmail Manager likes to play hide and seek, no general account settings, almost impossible to click on the alerts ...
Don't understand why this version came out, it is clearly unstable compared to the previous one. More like an alpha.
Really whish you will be able to correct it soon, I love this extension, it's one of my favorite !
So keep the good work and let us know what's going on !

v0.6: What happened to the setting "Automatically change to the account with new email"?

It's a GREAT tool, I even donated for it, but as others are saying, the new version is frustrating. Some of my accounts merely say "xxx@gmail.com is connected, and no messages are visible, others show the messages as allways, and when I add new accounts they appear as new icons near the original, without their name; and, finnally, sometimes it asks for a password, even when it's flagged as "allways". I do not wish to downgrade, as I'm using FF 3.6 now... PLEASE, correct those aspects soon. And thanks again. I continue to think it's a 5 star!

I really don't like this latest upgrade. Before double clicking on the icon would take me to my email account but not now!

Hi.
I have been using Gmail Manager for a while now and I really love it. But after updating to the latest version (0.6), I'm experiencing a pretty annoying behavior compared to the previous versions.
In earlier versions, when mouse over the gmail manager icon at the right-bottom corner of firefox, you got a box with brief information including email counts of inbox, spam and some more lables if there was any new emails in them. But now you only get a box telling you that you are logged on.
This seems to be the behavior for the default account. Because when selecting another account then it is OK.

It's my nr. 1 addon, (0.5.7.5), but now 0.6 just meesed up everything, plz take a look at it soon, until then staying with 0.5.7.5 (The perfect gmail manager)'

What happened to this? This Addon worked so perfectly and now it just doesn't work like it should and like it already did...
Please get back to the old version...

I like the new version. It's awesome. But there are two problems:
The German translation is somewhat broken. Please have a look when you hover the icon in the status bar with your cursor.
Also the tool seems to delete any passwords saved for google.com, which is annoying as hell.

0.5.7.5 was great. Easily 5 stars.
0.6 is awful. If someone told me that it was actually 0.1, I would have believed it.
Can't refresh accounts by selecting them on the right click list anymore. Also apparently accounts won't auto-check anymore so I have to manually refresh to get preview headers.
Put the old version up on your webpage for download, and I bet people would donate to get it. (Makes me wonder if this is some kind of New Coke-style conspiracy.) Also, if these issues are fixed in some 6.1 beta that people are mentioning in the reviews, put the betas up for download on your page too.

None of the mail notifier informs about the addition of a new email in the thread they just notify about the number of unread threads...

I like GMail Manager and I'm using it for a long time. I run my Firefox in private browsing mode always and have unchecked storing 3rd party cookies and GMail Manager worked fine. After I got the updates today, when I click on my email account, I get the following message from GMail:
Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on.
Not able to login to GMail from GMail Manager directly sucks.

バージョン0.6にしてから、Firefoxを起動する際に、ネット回線が繋がっていないとFirefoxの画面自体が表示されません。
プロセスだけが残り、画面が表示されないので、タスクマネージャから終了するしかありませんでした。
セーフモードで起動し、このアドオンを無効にしてからでないと、ネット回線に繋がずにFirefoxを使用することができなくなります。オフラインモードを多用される方は注意が必要です。

Since the update to .6 it causes Firefox to not open correctly. The process will be running but the window will not open. I have to use safe mode and disable all addons. Then manually turn them back on again. as soon as I turn this add-on back on it all crashes. newest version of stable version of Firefox.

I accidentally updated it to 0.6 and the problem happens again. When I click on the tab, it doesn't pop up a small window to enter password like use to and worse yet, it doesn't log you to your account anymore. This problem happened before for about 4 weeks before being fixed. I hope this time, it won't take that long. My old 0.5 version still work on the other PCs. So I will NOT upgrade until the issue is resolved.
