Checksum calculation: Please make an option to turn on/off (and hide) automatic md5 calculation on the progress status popup.The automatic calculation can slow down and freeze the browser! I tested several times with large files ( > 500 MB ; antivirus turned off).

This is truly an excellent addon and surpasses the old one in many ways. However, recent updates have left middle-click to cancel not working, and downloads now do not automatically clear after X seconds at least when progress is set to vertical.

Dude, your the man. I was actually more than happy to stay with FF 25 because I didn't want to have to do without this addon. Thank You for all of your hard work. I will be recommending this to everyone that I know. Well Done!

Kudos for developing a replacement for the original "Download Statusbar" addon in such a short time! Great work!

I have to commend the developer, not only for taking on the challenge of replacing the original extension, but for his exemplary communication with his users and the rapidity of his updates, sometimes several a day. If you miss the original Download Statusbar, having migrated to 26, this is the perfect replacement. If there's anything you find that you don't like about it, it will be probably be fixed soon!

I have been looking for a replacement after the old one died. Excellent add on, makes downloads elegant and non intrusive. highly recommended.

An excellent, most useful add-on. It gives much useful info just by hovering. Closely tracks the speed of a download, giving you color codes to show how fast/slow it is at a glance. Enables either launch of the new file or opening its folder, among other such functionality. I have fun changing the colours now & then :)

Currently I am using v2.9 but since a couple of versions before the Greek characters of file names are messed up when closing firefox. Still giving 5 stars as there is active support and hopefully all bugs will be gone soon.

It is already there actually. You can get Options window from Tools / Add-ons / Download Status Bar / Preferences way, switch to Appearance tab and select Download Panel from User Interface. It will place the icon in add-on bar as default but if the add-on bar is hidden it will place it in Navigation toolbar.

Virus Check cannot support nirsoft's HashMyFiles. Download StatusBar can do this. please fix! thank you!

It's pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the "automatically clear these file types after xxx seconds" doesn't work if I type *.* for all kinds of file types. Can you please fix that? Thanks.

As others have said, this is shaping up to be better than the original. If you can make the download progress bars display the file name in big font, and the speed and remaining time in small font, like pictured in below link, it'd be perfect. Fantastic job, and really appreciate the constant updates.

Just wanted to say that I was a bit skeptical when I had to replace my trusted Download StatusBar addon with this when the original stopped working.
Turns out that this addon is even better in so many ways, and as mentioned before gets updates very often.
If I would ask for anything it's that I get a few more options (i.e. remove some things I don't ever use from the right click menu).

This extension has matured over a very very short period of time. That can only happen when you have an insanely responsive developer like Szalgiris - I get updates everyday!! Really, great job! This extension easily surpasses the original version - it provides more download information and right-click options. I do have one feature request. Would it be possible to add a "Send to" option on the right click menu as well (same as the one on our pc's?). That would really make my day. Highly recommended extension. Ps. Like the new icon

THX! Eleinte hiányoltam a virus scan parameters -t de megoldottam máshogy (ecls.exe), így nekem ez a megoldás is jó FF26 -on. Már kifejezetten vártam, nagyon megszoktam ezt a kiegészítőt, köszönöm a fejlesztőnek!

The download status bar that you are developing is day by day better! By far the most useful addon for firefox!
I have only a little note regarding the drag-drop feature. I have noticed that this feature moves the file from the download location to the drop one. Is it possible to give the option to choose if a move or a file copy have to be performed? In case that it is not possible to add this option have you the possibility to remove the downloaded file as soon as it has been moved? This is important because after the drag-drop the file is still on the bar but not anymore reachable since it has been moved. Thanks again for your great work! Giulio
