This is really great plugin! I'm using it to handle a hundred of customer ftp accounts. I can't imagine life without it.

Brilliant add-on... Ideal that i can have more than one ftp account and catagories.

Even though it's kind of clunky and you have to refresh constantly to see changes this is still the only graphical ftp client I've found for OS X that offers pro-level navigation. If you're switching from a PC and don't want to be infantilized into double-clicking everything, and want to be able to actually *type* a path without "shift-command G" then this might be the only option, not to mention browser-style nav bar that remembers some history. Transmit and Fetch offer a beautiful "Apple" experience (and decent syncing options) but personally when I want a beautiful experience I don't turn to file transfer as my first choice. Get 'er done and then have time to read a book or talk to girls or make some money or something.

The install.rdf 2.0.4 only shows a max version of 10.*. Does this addon work with FF 12.0?
I read the release info which said v13, but I was wondering about the rdf.
Yes, it does work with FF 12.0 - I didn't update the install.rdf before upload (an oversight) but I updated addons.mozilla.org to correct this. Are you having issues installing it on FF 12?

This add-on is very helpful as I upload a lot of files to a server, and definitely has become a life-saver. I no longer need to have both Filezilla + Firefox open, now I just need Firefox.

most of my life and used ftp to day of today I still often use the program always installed at once cumbersome but when I met this add-ons I changed a lot for its ease of use and transport
nothing more practical and simple veanlo assure you they give it to the test pc :) thanks.

I am very annoyed at this version of firefox and the ftp is complicated.... I like the old version of firefox wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. 2 thumbs down for me!!!!!

Years ago I wrote a batch file using the Windows FTP command line tool to update my personal web page at my ISP. One double-click and done. But my [unbelievably gross and obscene expletive deleted] ISP changed their process and broke my little tool. FireFTP works. Takes a couple of extra clicks, but is much more flexible. Thanks!

the best FTP tool in my eyes, BUT: it don´t keep/save the width of tabs if you change them manually. After close and re-open it, FireFTP displays the old sizes, much too small in my case. See http://s14.directupload.net/images/120404/5k6j82ih.jpg (tested with FF 11.0 + FireFTP 2.0.1) That is nerve-racking in the long time. Please add an option for this. Thank you.

▶ Great ADD-ON. It would be REALLY nice if you could add account manage features and allow us to copy and modify the Account location/sign on information.
This would make it much easy and faster to add new accounts / server locations.
Please consider adding this feature.

Many years now, I've been using fireftp, however recently (which is probably due to upgrade of firefox) the transfer to server is 0kb.

Было бы очень здорово добавить возможность управления скоростью скачивания и загрузки (имеется ввиду ограничение)
