@Domènec: The latest version 1.2.3 doesn't appear to work on Local Folders (the "Flags" tab is not shown) - I don't know whether this is a bug or intentional (the later is more likely). The "Flags" tab appears in the "Folder Properties" dialog for IMAP folders, where the original problem this extension tries to solve resides.

On TB2 it works very well!
But on TB5 I can't found it!!! :(
On Properties window I see "General information" and "Retention Policy" tabs, but I not found folder flags tab!!!
I can't found any equivalent menu option, neither.

This bug has been fixed In 1.2.4. Thanks for letting me know.

Perfect! This extension was exactly what I was looking for. I use subfolders beneath the Junk Mail folder and Thunderbird kept moving messages from the subfolders into the top-level junk folder because it was re-flagging them as spam. This put a stop to that.

Great Add-On. Solve some Problems. But how about changing the icons without changing the properties? Think about for the next version. ;-)

Thanks for the feedback. Icon changes and property changes are both side effects of manipulating the flag. It happens to be a lightweight way to accomplish several things by making one tiny change. If you'd like to change just the folder icons, I'd recommend looking for a new theme.

If you ever check your mails from multiple accounts or locations, they can get confused as to which folder is your Drafts folder exactly (some like to keep it under Inbox, some separately, for example). This addon is essential for sorting out these issues.

Resolved my problems with folders (bad sorting, missing icons etc.)

For example, if you have 'Spam' folder managed by you provider other than one you use by Thunderbird. You can set it as 'Junk' to do not waiste time to check it by Thunderbird again.
