All processing of email content is done locally in Thunderbird.
When you choose to use the AI features (summarize, reply, compose, translate), the selected text or email content is sent securely to the OpenAI API, solely for generating the requested output.
No data is retained by the add-on itself, and no information is shared with third parties other than OpenAI as required to fulfill your request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any content you submit to OpenAI.
