Could you please re-make the way your extension works?
Manually adding the sites to the whitelist - is not a good idea, in my opinion. The extension itself should just check for every site I open - is it possible to view via https and if the answer is positive - then redirect me to the https version and automatically whitelist this site (so next time there will be no need to carry out such a check and not make users wait until this check gets finished).
Why do you make users do the robots' job? :)
And could you please tell me - why is your extension's work is based on expire dates? Why not use "permanent" for every rule?
