There's no reason to delay upgrading TB to the last version. You can find a TB7-compatible version on the developer's site.
A very useful add-on. It would be still greater if it could auto-detect the language used in the e-mail and select the right signature accordingly.

I find this little extension quite useful but I'd like it to be adapted to TB 6. For whatever reason tweaking the maxVersion number did not work on my computer (extension found "corrupted")...

I concur to the suggestion to auto select the available SMTP server. I reckon this could be based on learning (or asking the user to provide) associations between current IP domain and valid smtp server (no, ping won't work).
