This version has been modified to work with Thunderbird 68. It does not add any features. Due to the folder picker changing in ways that make it inaccessible to add-ons, the dialogs that are used to pick folders to file mail into are now a long list of folder names instead of a hierarchical picker widget. While there are more elegant ways to handle this, my goal was to get the add-on working again as quickly as possible.

The only change in this version is updating to track changes in Thunderbird 24. It restores the functionality that broke due to a subtle change to an internal interface.

This version adds an affinity in the move/copy/go-to dialog box for folders that have been chosen in the past, and sets the default value to match the most recently selected folder. Its algorithm is based on the behavior that Quicksilver describes for similar functionality. This release also adds the universal folders to the "go to" dialog (so that one may, for example, navigate to the unified inbox using that dialog).

1.4.7.0 also includes improvements in the Polish translation, and adds a Chinese (Traditional) translation.

This version re-introduces the "Translate" button that was removed from 1.4.6.7 as part of an emergency bug fix. It also adds a "Credits" screen to thank my translators.

1.4.6.8 adds a localization for Swedish (Svenska). 1.4.6.6 added localizations for Dutch (Nederlands), Spanish (Español de España) and Polish (Polski), as well as a minor fix for Russian (русский).

1.4.6.6 also added two new filter criteria: "From/To" and "To/Cc/From/Bcc."

This version adds two new filter criteria: "From/To" and "To/Cc/From/Bcc."

This version also adds localizations for Dutch (Nederlands), Spanish (Español de España) and Polish (Polski), as well as a minor fix for Russian (русский).

  1. Running the "run filters" function on a message without a matching filter now prompts the user to create a new filter (based on the current message).
  2. New keystrokes that allow users to specify the folder to move or copy a message into.
  3. New keystroke to quickly change to a given folder.
  4. Added a context (right-click) menu that can perform all the same operations as Archive This keystrokes.

This version also fixes some minor bugs associated with re-ordering of filters in Thunderbird 3.0b4 and 3.0RC1, and adds a new "File Bug Report" button to the preferences window to automatically collect the system information necessary to troubleshoot problems.

  • 1.4.1 fixes a problem with the bug reporter under Thunderbird 2.x.
  • 1.4.2 fixed an issue when a preset key is pressed with no messages selected.
  • 1.4.3 adds infrastructure for localization (I need translators!)
  • 1.4.4 fixes a compatibility issue with Thunderbird 2.x
  • 1.4.5 adds the ability to file in special folders for the same account that the message is currently in
  • 1.4.5.2 adds translations for German and Russian
