But the Thunderbrowse extension is great! Please substitute the ugly horse for the Thunder Bird!

I love this-can't get the cs-lite to work for cookies on all sites though.

This is an awesome extension! Wish it would work like an "embedded" browser, so I don't have to recreate the browser settings like history, autocomplete and cookies. (like the "IE Tab" extension for FireFox)

Hi,

I am a huge fan of this extension - it is practical and extremely useful. However after installing 3.1, that brings in tabbed support, my Vertical View in Thunderbird is messed up. I setup this view from the toolbar: View -> Layout -> Vertical View. I use Thunderbird on a Mac OS X platform running on a MacBook Pro. I would greatly appreciate it if either the preferences provided a means to turn off the tabs functionality or if it could be fixed for the Vertical View.

Thanks very much an dkeep up the great work!

This is fixed in the more recent versions of ThunderBrowse

Now that you've added tabbing and are working on the "bugs" can you look into adding "favorites". Wether they be automatically synced with Firefox or manually transferred...that doesn't really matter, but being able to access favorites quickly from my new favorite browser would put the cherry on the cake. Also instead of a middle click option for new browser, how about a right click menu for those of us without a three button mouse. What you've done so far is Super. Thanks!

Thanks, this add-on is vv useful for reading feed web-content without having to use the browser. I did just try to use the brower pane to confirm my registration to Thunderbird after I received thier confirmation email and I was unable to confirm because of some mozilla security certificate issue [i got a entry box asking 'please enter master password for PSM Internal FIPS-140-1 Crypto.]... That probably has something to do with my security setup but I thought I'd mention it anyhow. Overall, TBrowse is an excellent add-on, looking foward to the next release!

For anyone out there who is partial to Opera because of the built-in mail client-- you may be persuaded to go the Mozilla route-- or at least check it out for a while by using the combo of T-bird and Thunderbrowse.

THIS is what Mozilla should consider as a new release! (modified, and built around Firefox of course-- having Tbird integrated. Get a little inspiration, and borrowed intuition from Tbird w/ Thunderbrowse, boys and girls, and rock on!! C'mon, you can do it!

I've just installed this add-on. It's absolutely useful when you do not feel like open the browser for some link you're not sure about, or simply seems totally uninteresting. And after all, it's very comfortable to use it, works perfect, no side-effect for Thunderbird, looks clean, user-friendly designed, embeds the browser very fast instead of the message field. It's surprising and a very good idea.
Congratulations and I will look for more. That's what I call a real add-on.

Excellent extension! You don’t realise how useful this is until you’ve tried it, so much faster than having to launch a separate browser application. Recommended to all.

This extension makes the life with Thunderbird easier. Links in mails and newsgroups and the rss urls can be opened in Thunderbird itself. Middle-clicking the links opens them in the default browser (but can set another in the preferences). Also the title of the Thunderbird window can be changed to the title of browsed page. The autocomplete function which only works in the extra browsing window needs some useability work. Furthermore, a throbber or statusbar ui showing that the page is loading can reduce confuion if the page needs long to load.
