I think this is the best add on for connecting to your Gmail contacts. I have tried tons. This also has some awesome additions to your contacts.For example, importing contacts from Facebook. I have not tried this yet, but its nice to have it. The setup was also very easy. I really hope they continue support for this with all the updates from Mozilla. Top rated in my book!

Very rare I post reviews but this really is top notch. Syncing between TB (on 2 pc´s), google and xperia8. Does what it says on the tin. Highly recommended.

i am amazed! how easy this works, many options to choose from, very intuitive. tried many different solutions before that and they where all a complete waste of time (and sometimes money) = "memotoo", "google contacts addon", "funambol sync addon", zimbra...
thank god i found this today! i am syncing between my htc desire, thunderbird and google contacts, making changes to either of them and those changes are synced properly with all 3. great! if it continues working this way stable for some time i will definitely donate!!! thanks for this great addon

I have written another review, but after testing for months and NO problems. I am back to give my final opinion. First off all, this was sooo important to have a sync with TB and Google. No other plugin or program was capable of actually performing this. Believe me I tried them all. I had some slight problems with the early versions, but since the 0.3.0x versions it has been great. I had 2 duplicates on a computer that I upgraded to the latest version and synced, but compared to the other programs, who cares. I donated $30 and will probably do it again next year.

Fantastic. Works whereas another didn't. Synchronizing this kind of data reliably is quite a feat. Gladly gave $5 :)

Thank you so much - this is exactly what I've been looking for. I like Thunderbird for local email storage but Gmail for contacts & synching with iPhone, and this has just solved a huge conundrum for me. Brilliant!

i am a chinese ,i use thunderbird to get mail , and use gContactSync to Synchronous the contact between google contact and thunderbird contact ，can you add the chinese language in the next version

Quite good on first looks. So far it seems to sync without mangling the addresses, etc. Thanks for all your work on this.
Shobhit Gupta, I've been able to COPY from one account to another by holding the Ctrl key while drag/dropping. Try that, it should solve your problem.

Easy to install/configure and to use. What I like is the support of contact groups. Just great and what I was searching for.

Einfach zu installieren, konfigurieren und zu benutzen. Bis jetzt das beste Add-On für die Synchronisation von Kontakten. Was ich besonders mag ist die Unterstützung von Kontaktgruppen.
