Its great, feature rich and flexible - but useless.Crashes on random actions. Thunderbird doesnt survive very long..

Does not work any more. The displayed unread mails count is not correct, and the add-on eventually crashes Thunderbird. I had to deactivate ist. The author knows about this issue (#79) for months.

Great system tray for Linux. I use it with Thunderbird and I'm very satisfied: it integrates well with my desktop environment, and can notify about new mails and new chat messages. Thanks to the developers!

Thunderbird supports chat since version 13. It would be great if firetray could support chat accounts and show a notification when someone starts to chat with you.

Upto today [May-26, 2012] it worked wonderful. Now todays update resulted in TB no longer to start. Safe-Mode, disable Firetray, TB works again.

Works great addon, and I see so many options ... which of them less important. It would be interesting to change the icon and you can use an alternative ...

I updated my thunderbird to 11.0.1, but right now after I minimized it to the system tray I can not show it again! what's wrong? Is it because the updating? when will you provide next version? P.S. my OS is ubuntu 11.01.

hi, this is fixed in the latest dev version (https://github.com/foudfou/FireTray/issues/26). The fix will be included in the next release (0.4.2), but you can easily build from the sources (https://github.com/foudfou/FireTray/wiki/Build). Cheers
