Great add-on !!!
On the first site I logged into with this addon, I sent me straight back to the login page. Security risk or bug? Either way it didn't work for me. Otherwise, the plugin brings up urls inside thunderbird ok. Fix it, secure it, sign the code, and get some security sites to endorse it and I will install Thunderbrowse!
If you want to login to websites you need to install CS Lite.

It works (although a bit slower than my opera browser) and helps me. Suggestion: It would be even better, if you made open ALL links within 'thunderbrowse' to stay totally independant - at least for my e-mail work - of my standard browser. Anyway thanks for your work!

This is a must extension to have. I would like to ask whether you intend to add a "Scrap book" functionality to your extension. I would like to be able to read my RSS feeds offline within TB. Any support?

I like ThunderBrowse a lot! It makes following links in E-mails much simpler.
Also the ability to view RSS-feeds is much improved by the ability to view the full page inside Thunderbird.
However, is there away to immediately browse an RSS items webpage without having to first right click the website URL and choosing “Open in Browser”? If not I really would like to have it!!

This is a wonderful add-on that saves time. It works just like it is supposed to.

This extension is amazing. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it's easy to understand all the settings.
I can read my emails and read sites like the NY Times that require logins and cookies and follow up on my RSS/Atom feeds - all in Thunderbird.
Everyone at our community center is using this now.
It's particularly useful for computers that don't have much memory to spare - no need to run two apps to read emails and browse sites.
Thank you for creating this.

I use Image Zoom which has right click (context menu) functionality to zoom embedded images. ThunderBrowse hijacks the context menu making Image Zoom unusable. Is there any way of combining the context menus?
When I checked, Image Zoom uses a method so that they don\'t show their context menu entries on other browsers. So you will only see the context menu on the mail tab.

This last update is a complete nightmare...
Click on a link and FF opens up to Thunderbird start page, or a previously selected website...
A complete total mess... I am sure you will fix, and I have been a loyal fan of this EXT., but is now been removed.

Doesn't work properly on many pages, including Google Calendar which is the whole reason I installed it. When I try to login, it goes into an infinite loop reloading the redirect link over and over.
Google has this weird effect when you first try to login. If it doesn't let you in by the third or fourth attempt, the embedded cookie system isn't working for your build (meaning you have to install CS Lite).
After you use CS Lite and login, it should work just fine.
I'm deeply sorry that it didn't work out for you (though I do take offense at the "as usual" [which I haven't seen you complain or send a bug report, meaning this is your first time at reporting such a problem [suggesting that you haven't tried it very long], thus you technically can't say "as usual"], you could have left that out).

I was using ThunderBrowse to log in to selected sites. Then I noticed that everytime I visted the site, I was somehow logged in.
As I was looking for a way to clear my cookies in ThunderBrowse, I couldn't find that option. So I installed CS Lite (Cookie Safe Lite).
I then saw all the nasty cookies accumulated in from ThunderBrowse. I suggest you install CS Lite in addition to ThunderBrowse.
Still, great extension

The only problem I had with this extension is that when uninstalling it, it doesn't revert your Start Page. In fact, I'd quite like it to not change my Start Page at all.
For those who had a problem, simply go into Thunderbird options and click "Revert Default" on the Start Page options.
The FAQ does have a topic about this. I'm considering making the FAQ available online.
3.2.1 has some code in it that should delete ThunderBrowse prefs on uninstall (with the exception of two prefs) and reset the homepage. The wizard also had an option to force ThunderBrowse not to overwrite the startpage.

I have one site that emails me things that I must then open in a browser. I tried thunderbrowse but it does not seem to have a whitelist/blacklist function whereby I can specify \"open all sites in browser except these\" or \"open all sites in thunderbird except these\" etc... is that possible?
I'm pretty sure I never put that as a feature. While that's a nice idea, I don't think I'll be adding that in any time soon.
You can still always assign open in external browser to middle click and just middle click those links instead.

Great Extension. However, I give it a nine because when I tried turning it off it didn't work. So, I tried to uninstall it. It shows it gone in the Add-on list but it still shows up in the message window. Wait-
later it disappeared. (Next Day - after it disappeared, it appeared again. Any way to get rid of it without deleting Thunderbird and reinstalling it?
Thank you. By turning it off do you mean link capturing or by disabling the extension?
It sounds like you might have a corrupted profile. ThunderBrowse won't try to re-enable itself after you disabled it or uninstalled it.
