Please update this to 3.0b3 or higher.
To get rid of the "0kb" next to the accountname add:
if (size == 0) {
size = "";
units = "";
}
right before the string:
return String(size) + units;

This will also effect folders with no size like Trash, but now it looks almost like it should be.

Great plugin, it makes keeping track of how big my mail boxes are getting a lot easier to manage, thanks.

I wanted zeros removing too (especially from the top level account folders) so I've altered the code.

To simply get rid of zeros, just alter line 9 of chrome/content/main.js and change:
return aNumber == -1 ? "" : aNumber;
to
return aNumber {less than}= 0 ? "" : aNumber;

(substitute {less than} for the less than symbol)

I can't seem to get linebreaks. I will repeat again.

I can't believe you need an add-on for something as simple as this in this bloody thunderbug.

Here is what you should do to get rid of annoying zeros.

Find "extra-cols@jminta_gmail.com\chrome\content" folder. It is inside "extensions" folder.

Open "main.js" with wordpad (make a copy first).

Change:

case "folderTotalCol":

return fixNum(this._folder.getTotalMessages(false));

TO:

case "folderTotalCol":

if (fixNum(this._folder.getTotalMessages(false)) > 0)

return fixNum(this._folder.getTotalMessages(false));

return;

I don't know javascript but this worked for me. I am not responsible if it drinks your beer, blows up your pc, shags your wife or kills your dog.

Cheers.

As mentioned previously in other reviews, this version (0.2) does not work out-of-the-box with TB 3.0b2.

To make it work, you have to unzip the .xpi file and to edit install.rdf to change the maxVersion attribute to:
3.0b3pre

instead of:
3.0b2pre

This extension does not seem to function in TB3.0b2. Any chance of making it work again. It worked fine for me in TB3.0b1. Thanks!

I also don't understand why this feature was removed from TB3. I uninstalled TB3 and use TB2 again.

I also do not understand why this feature was removed from TB3. :(

I'd like to add 2 options:

- do not show zerrows
- show bloded numbers when unread messages are in folder

Just as it was before.

Tnx!

I do not understand why this feature was removed from TB3, but it's great to have it back. :-)

...and as it was said, (account) folders don't necessarily need information.

Could we have those two as boolean options?
Show zeros
Show folder information?

Great to have this feature in 3; it was missing.

The add-on works well.
If you do some more work on it, please include the following:
- don't give Size info on accountnames
- Size info on newsgroups gives "???", just leave it out

Let's hope they put it back in in the bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464973

Good to see the spirit of Tb still alive and well. Namely the flexibility tweak the UI while the core is light and agile.

The only flaw is the numbers do not align under there headings.
