I just plain can't get it to do anything. The search works exactly the same as it ever did. "from:john" only finds emails with the string "from john" somewhere in them.

I type body:word and it doesn't find an email containing this word from last week in current folder!

I would love using this plugin, but I'm having the same problem other users have reported. I'm with thunderbird 91.7.0 on Mac OSX and the search bar doesn't show up.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have used this for a while now and love it. I did have to reinstall my thunderbird setup and added NG search and have activated it. However, the search bar doesn't show up. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

please tell which operating system and addon version. As of now, it is working in TB 91.2.1 on Win 10 pro. Preferably, leave more info in the github issues section https://github.com/opto/Expression-Search-NG/issues.

Was in despair for Wong's search to work and found that this has risen from the ashes. Thunderbird is again the best Mail client. Emails from 15 years back, hundreds of thousands and TB manages it well.

Thank you very much for your updating this add-on!!
This is the main reason for me to use TB. It's great helpful. One miner thing is that the delete button is out of the search space on my laptop. On my 4k display, it's OK. I'm happy if this is improved, then it will be perfect for me!
On the other hand, I really show my gratitude to you but I could not donate on PayPal. I'm not sure the reason but comment "Donations to this recipient aren't supported in this country" popped up on PayPal site. Your or someone's advice is helpful.

Nice to realize that this extension is again available!

Please, try to keep doing!

Let's hope that Mozilla developers take a bit more care of the add-on-API in the future, so that we don't lose lot's of excellent extensions anymore.

THANK YOU so much for updating this. Along with Nostalgy, this is the main reason I use Thunderbird. Super powerful search, there is nothing else for T-bird that compares.

I just started to use it and I like it

Every time I start Thunderbird, I get a popup
"Thunderbird expression search is now restartless"
How can I disable this?
