Don't bother installing it if you are using Thunderbird 15

It can not display HTML "title" content...

This add-on works nicely when it works, but then sometimes it doesn't work (e.g. when the web site you visit has Flash or other animations). Even when it works it is not a huge convenience so taken together I would rather not have the trouble than have it.

Oh yeah another downer (at least for TB 6). When you disable it and you have a URL in your mail that you want to visit, nothing happens. Get Zero when you click on it. I'm not sure whether that's Thunderbrowse's fault but when I did not have it I never got this behavior.

While Thunderbird's design evolves, Thunderbrowse still has the same design it had 2 years ago. It does not fit anymore in Thunderbird. I prefer to give up its functionality than to see something very ugly every time I open my mail.

I'm not a graphic designer, I'm a programmer. I'll admit design is not my strongest point. If you don't like how it looks, there are several themes that compliment ThunderBrowse quite nicely (I'd recommend Charamel)

it's an okay add-on. you can copy and paste, if you use ctrl+c and ctrl+v. when you right click there's an option to copy, but not paste. I've experienced a bit of freezing, while multiple tabs were opened. it is great that you can look at web pages in Thunderbird without going to Firefox. I also liked that they have the Playstation font on the main page. I'm a huge Playstation fan. haha. why isn't there a home button to go back to this page? doesn't make sense to me. also, why are people still using Google? Google doesn't protect anyone's privacy. I think DuckDuckGo would be a better search engine to include on the main page. DuckDuckGo actually protects everyone's privacy. I've logged into my email account, so that works. I don't know what one reviewer is talking about.

I miss ThunderBrowse. Please update it so it works with PostBox v. 3.0.3!

It's simply indispensible!

Four stars, works brilliantly, not sure what a previously poster said about not having a back button, it's there and it works. I only gave it 4 starts because there's no sync with firefox login session. Would like to be able to access an already logged in webpage without having to login again from thunderbird.

In many cases, log-on systems don't work.
The URL bar is horrible because the highlighting is annoying and you have to manually select the text in it.
The default settings are bad. The tabs should open in the main tab bar by default.

Works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't and when it does it seldom renders all content. Just as soon use MSIE.

The feature in Thunderbird that allows one to search for extensions on AMO from the Add-Ons Manager breaks when Thunderbrowse is active. When I click on "Browse All Add-Ons" in the Add-On Manager, it just opens a blank tab. Also in TB10, Thunderbrowse only creates a new tab in the message display window, where in previous versions of Thunderbird it would work in a new Thunderbird tab.

I know TB10 is still in beta but I'm hoping Thunderbrowse gets updated to work properly in TB10 and above.

A great add-on however does not work with Thunderbird 6, 7, 8, or 9 (correctly). For the most part, it simply does not work on Thunderbird after 3.0.

Needs updated. The authors website provides no additional information or help.

Appears to be a dead project.

Great feature. Much less hassle. No need to open browse anymore, which is slow and annoying. Especially on Mac

I have T-bird 5.0 on two machines, one running Windows XP, the other Windows 7. The 3.8 version immediately worked without a hitch on XP, but required a few restarts and tweaks before working right on 7. Either way, I'm glad Thunderbrowse is back.

There is one small bug in 3.8, not sure if it was there before. When I scroll down in the message pane lets say near the end of the message and click a link, ThunderBrowse opens a new tab correctly and I see everything on that tab fine. But once I close that tab and it goes back to the email message pane it has now scrolled all the way back to the top of message, not where I had left it at the bottom of the page where the link was. I find this very annoying as now I have to scroll all the way back to where I was in order to continue reading that email. If you could fix it so the page doesn't auto scroll back to the top that would be nice.

A very useful addon, used it daily, but sadly no working Thunderbird 5 version yet. Please upgrade the plugin to work with TB5.
