There is an issue if you update from v94 to V96 maybe because there is a migration process of vcard in V95 that is not in V96.
So if you update your thunderbird and your addon to V96 and it doesn't work, you have to manually download and install V94 then V95 and then V96. And it works.

I like cardview. Maybe it is the wrong adress. I'm sorry. But how can I get rid of the blue background in the contacts view?

When selecting lists, the display names are no longer shown, but the e-mail addresses. This is very impractical.

Great add-on for TB. I'm sticking with 94.4, though, because all the 95.x up to 95.5 just don't work for me, seeming to have lost the address books completely.

Depuis quelques jours, Cardbook ne crée que des problèmes, perte de contacts dans les groupes, arrêt de la synchronisation même lorsqu'elle est demandé manuellement. Cette extension nous a été très utile depuis que nous utilisons Framagenda pour l'agenda et les contacts. J'ai tenté une désinstallation puis réinstallation, mais alors la découverte des contacts est devenu impossible avec l'URL.

Using TB 128.3esr and Cardbook 95.5. I experience several bugs:
Cannot delete contact
Cannot move contacts across address books
And something strange. Now contacts with same category appears across address books but edit contacts show empty.

Tried to go back to old version to get back reliability. In the process got to reading the entire description. You are giving access of not only the program, but also your computer to an individual. NOT HAPPENING! Recommended by Thunderbird, guess it's going away too.. Been a user of both for several years..

Syncing still fails with version 95.5 (CardDAV on NAS with Cardbook on LINUX)

For the past two or three days, even with version 95.3, synchronization has stopped working—neither within the local network (with NAS) nor with Nextcloud. Setting up the accounts again hasn't changed anything. According to the console, there are some errors in the Cardbook configuration files, but I can't assess the impact of these errors.

Disabling and removing Cardbord extension, both help that the Thunderbird "Send Button" in the Email writing Dialogue works again. A funny quote from AI:
“Please try pressing the button again, ensuring it is fully depressed.”

Same issue here. Cannot send any mails as long as Cardbook Extension is active.
I remember that this problem occured some years ago, also combined with the release of a new TB version. So I think it cannot be any new or unknown reason.

Forum in https://cardbook.icu/forum/ doesn't work.
In 95.2 it was not possible to send mails in TB, in 95.3 it's ok. But in both versions i can not really delete contacts. Deleting affects the content of the contact will be deleted, but it remains in the list of contacts. Clicking on it shows an empty contact.
With beginning of 95.2 filters won't work correct. A filter set on contacts of an adressbook works an ALL adressbooks.

Hello.
95.3 does not fix the problem.
I can connect to my server with 94.4 but, with 95.3, it says "Validation error" and aborts the connection.

This was working GREAT for loong time now.
With latest update (TB 128.3.3, CardBook 95.2) I simply can't SEND mails any more, as long as the CardBook Extension is enabled. Diasabling it allows TB to send mail again.
Pleas Fix as soon as possible
