My Reviews

WebPG for Mozilla

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It seems to require GnuPG v2. Won't install/work with v1.4.x

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.0.1-signed.1-signed).

Extension List Dumper

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I recently started using v1.15.1 and like it.
When I save the Dump List as a text file, is it just my computer or is it normal that the file is output with only line feed characters at the end of each line, instead of line feed + carriage return?
Printing directly to the printer produces a nice looking print-out, so I've started saving the list in that manner instead of saving it as a text file.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.15.1.1-signed.1-signed).

Identity Chooser

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have tried other ways to make sure that the correct identity is used for my emails, but still had problems.
This extension is a fool-proof way to select the correct identity.
Plus, the extension's author is very responsive to email reports.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).

CheckPlaces

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just found this extension. It works great.
I guess I can finally retire the AM-Deadlink program, that hasn't been easy to use since Firefox started using a database file for the bookmarks.
Thanks.

Folderpane Tools

As listed in some of these messages, someone has posted a fix called
folderpane_tools-0.0.5.1-mod.xpi

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.5.1).

Folder Account

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's hard to see in the graphic picture:
To use this extension, right-click on Thunderbird's folder, and then select "Properties".
Select an email identity from the box called "From Account".

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).

Folder Account

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After a little confusion on my part, I finally saw that the email address should be associated with the folder using Folder Properties.
I've done that with a folder that receives my mail, from a Group that requires my emails to be sent using a specific email identity. Hopefully, now I will not have any of my emails returned to me, because I didn't use the correct email identity when I sent them.
Thanks again.
