Love them all, but wondering if curtain buttons can load in new tab than the current page you are on. Like mail buttons, twitter and so forth.

i have been using this for a long time with firefox. i would love this to be supported again . if it were to be there are many new buttons that could be provided apart from the type all ready included. GROUPS of interest buttons could be provided to give links to commercial / private sites covering subjects such as genealogy, news, sport, blogs, craft the list is of course endless. i am currently using the button maker linked from the site to make my own links for genealogy but it would be so much better to be able to get buttons like these in the addon or from a forum. I HOPE THIS ADDON LIVES ON FOR EVER!

While now apparently unsupported, this still contains some excellent working buttons and can replace a number of individual further extensions. Once installed, you will find the "Sort and Search Customization Dialogs" addon very helpful!

Works with TB13 (13.0.1) if you edit maxver (at least it installs and the buttons I want work, such as View Source and Install Add-On)

This is the only addon I know of that has toolbar buttons for all the Firefox menu bar functions and sub-functions and I loved it up to the last revision. Unfortunately, when this extension was updated to version 1, all the buttons were changed to a hideously counterintuitive design (small, tiny busy details, confusing, almost identical colors and shapes so that it became impossible to distinguish between buttons at a glance). Sadness; I had to stop using this extension. However, I recently discovered the StrataM 4 theme which is a simple theme which ONLY changes the color, size and design of the Firefox toolbar buttons, replacing replace them with slightly larger, more colorful, clear and intuitive buttons. StrataM 4 works great with Toolbar buttons 1.0 in Firefox 12; where there are buttons in both packs, the StrataM buttons are used - this means I don't have to put up with the awful default buttons in Toolbar Buttons 1.0, but can still use the unique buttons I like from the Toolbar Buttons 1.0 pack - additionally, StrataM enlarges those unique buttons to a normal size so that they match with the StrataM theme. Even with this improvement, most of the unique Toolbar Buttons 1.0 buttons are still too counterintuitive for easy use, but this makes a few key buttons available to me so win win for now.

I can confirm that as grahamc has posted it is possible to use this with current versions, such as TBird 12.x

I probably use about 25% of the buttons that come with this add-on and I love them. I put all of my toggles up on the menu toolbar, and use it in junction with Vertical Toolbar for the buttons associated with customization and with Buttonizer so I have a personal drop-down menu just for my tab controls. I love having the quick access to all the necessary everyday functions I perform with my browser.

This is my favourite add-in, but it has stopped working with version 12. I've tried changing the installed RDF file and also editing the RDF in the XPI file to max version 12.0.*, 12.* and even 15.* but cannot get this to work.
Codefisher's forum is unavailable.
Can anyone advise how to get this fab add-in to work again please?

I like this add-on, but every time Thunderbird has an update, Toobar Buttons breaks and I have to wait for another update. Wish the updates could be more in sync with each other. I'm running TB version 13 b1 and Toobar Buttons is not working for me.

I'd really like this to be updated so that it works with Thunderbird 11.x - I use the "Close Other tabs" feature when right clicking on the main window

It is compatible with FF 9.0.1. But you have to install Add-On Compatibility Reporter first.Great extension.

very good add-on - better as firefox as fo me ;-)
FireFox afternight today goes to up-to-date (not sure in wich order but goes) and goes... 99% CPU load as always :) one thing this beast forget todo - up-to-date first and then only open my previously and carefully opened Tabs :)
So I wait update for Toolbar Button as many people here

PPS - TB works after FF restart, not sure why it was "incompatible" but now no any marks about it's incompatibilty with FF 9.01 in mine FF copy (FF9.01-RU-ru)

This is out date and will not work with the new version of Firefox. I miss these buttons I used them a lot.
