It is a very uselful little addon. The previous version (0.4.5) worked fine with me using skype. The new version has a bug. It generates numbers like %2b31674386756. Can you please publish a download path to version 0.4.5 ???

I love the concept of this addon but can't seem to get it to work --- if the phone number is formatted just right, the addon will recognize and provide a link to click but when I try to choose "dial" -- I get the following error:

http://www.screencast.com/users/arkitekt/folders/Jing/media/596e044e-d275-44d2-9b6a-679dee5d2685

I'd like to be able to determine the phone number formats it recognizes --- a lot of people use xxx.xxx.xxxx for mat now vs (xxx) xxx-xxxx ---- the former is not recognized at all by the addon. Skype's own toolbar will recognize this.

Thanks!

great app, with SKYPE for OS X you can set a default setting for the country code which helps a lot. Does not work with gmail though...

Get an error: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (tel) isn't associated with any program.

Also, should have option to set default country code. Is there a CVS for your code? I'd like to contribute.

doesn't work with skype's format because it isn't using a country code to dial. Skype requires a country code to make calls.

This doesn't work with Skype. It only recoginizes a phone number on the page if it is formated as such:
(xxx)xxx-xxx
However skype needs the country code and must be formated with the country code at the beginning such as a "1" for USA.
This will be a big hit for firefox once they get it working with skype correctly, but until then it is worthless.

Until it can do what it says it will do, it only has potential. Either it does not recognize Skype format for dialing, or clear instructions need to be included.

I've not been able to get this to work with Skype. When I try to send a number to Skype using the Telify, Skype complains that the number is invalid or not properly formatted. And I can confirm that it does not work in frames, with GMail, etc.
