This should defiantly be updated to work with 3.6 as hiding it in the browser doesn't allow you to bring it back up by pressing ALT and doesn't work well with some themes. Update it!

Great add-on, used it all the time, never any problems. Now Firefox 3.6 has this ability build it.
Thanks for supporting this add-on all this time!

Very nice function! Thanks.
I would like it, when you could hide the menubar even from the composer window of Thunderbird.

Due to Firefox 3.6 has built-in the "hide menu bar" ability, this extension has accomplished its mission.
Thus, the HideMenubar extension will no necessary to support for Firefox 3.6.

I have been using this addon for quite some time, and it is perfect for small screen, or just for a nicer look. And on both Firefox and Thunderbird!
The addon will also still be useful with Firefox 3.6, since the developers had the bad idea to decide that the menubar must be shown if one added anything to it. Which is, of course, what we all did.
Let's hope for an update!

I do like it, but I did put the address field to my menubar and then i press ALT it shows the menu bar, but to focus address field i have to use mouse.
Would it be possible to make that on pressing F6 ,standard address focusing key, the menubar would be shown and address field would get focus?

Works perfect well under 3.6beta/rc but needs to apply checkCompatibility hack first. So dear authors, could you please mark this as 3.6 compatible too?

Works great on Debian Squeeze / Gnome. Thanks.
Would be great customizing/hiding all menus that way.

Love it, love it, love it. Thanks for this add-on! Makes life simpler in terms of decluttering screen space with the menu bar I don't often use. But with just one button I can show the menu bar again. This add-on doesn't interfere with other theme add-ons that I've installed, so it's perfect. :)
