Great tool... I love that it adds Menu Toolbar to the right-click options... at the very least that should become part of the standard FF options! It takes compact themes to the extreme!

I have been looking for an add-on with this functionality for a while now. It frees up a lot of space for browsing, especially since I have such a small monitor and the largest resolution I can use is 1024x768. Love it.

Works as it should. Maybe the Mozilla developers will add something like this in a future build.

For some reason it was disappearing every time I started typing (which really upset me), but I found out I had a corrupt prefs.js file, and somehow removing that fixed it! yay!

Really annoying because it interferes with using ctrl-k and ctrl-l to type things in the address bar and search bar. You can press alt, then ctrl-l or k and start typing, but the bar disappears while you are typing and messes everything up. Maybe a setting for a delay time would make this better.

Works beautifully, just as it should.

Should be described as Windows only as it fails to do anything in OS X.

Good add-ons but alt is not the best .... Ctrl will be better !
Excellente extensions, dommage que la touche alt soit la pour faire ré-apparaitre temporairement le menu, crtl aurait été un meilleur choix ...
Mais je la garde alors 4/5 !

Awesome extension. I started using this a good while ago with Firefox 2 because (and don't maim me for this) I liked IE7's interface better, and wanted this functionality to complete the look. Now, I use it with Firefox 3 to maximize my screen real estate.
P.S. I am not experiencing the problem eliaspizarro reported. I'm using Ubuntu Hardy, Firefox 3.0.5 installed from the Ubuntu Hardy repositories, and the latest version of this extension.

Works Great! I've recently switched to firefox, and missed the extra space I saved in IE7 by collapsing the menu bar. Browsing looks much better with this add-on. Thanks!

Please develop a version that supports Thunderbird 2!
I currently use it for Firefox 3 and it works flawlessly. But for Thunderbird there's only support for the version 3 betas?
Bring it out for Thunderbird 2 please!!

Awesome!! I just bought a Mini 9 from DELL and it has a 1024 x 600 resolution. The screen is nice but the 600 makes viewing some things harder. This feature made my web browsing so much better!!!
