Just what is needed and thanks for it :)

But ... the usual drop-down list of matching addresses as the address is typed does not appear.

With the error console open, as soon as a single letter is typed into the To field:

Same behaviour with all other add-ons disabled

Versions:
Thunderbird 17.09
OS: Slackware64 14.0

Sorry for posting a bug report in a review but I could not find out how else to do it.
