A thoroughly wonderful extension. Inconceivable to me how anyone would complain about it.

Using it since 2 years, it's simply the best tool of this kind.

I manage 6 pc's, on 4 of them FileZilla is regularly used. I thought this extension would make things easier, since most of the time, the browser is open and used.
It seems to work as it should, but.
I own a Synology NAS in a mixed Win and Lin environment. This NAS is the best whe ever had.
FireFTP does not want or is not able to contact this NAS, while the pc has open contact with it. That is a major set back, since the NAS stores the files of the websites I manage.

I can't get passed the download without having problems. Can't wait to see what happens after I get it loaded! It's a toss up on which is more irratating this or Microsoft?

Much easier to use than any standalone FTP client I tried. And the best is that FireFTP is available right there in the browser. When needed often, I leave it activated. When needed rarely, I deactivate the add-on. Still my favourite FTP client for quite some time now. Recommended to any user looking for a good FTP client without the hassle of installing extra software. Just use your Firefox :-)

Superficially, looked good. Sadly, seems incompetent as an ftp client. With support that basically consists of a one-finger salute, not much to recommend here. (No place to report bugs) I give it one star because zero stars isn't an option.
First account I created came up with:
501 Unrecognized PORT parameter format
: /home/myID//home/myID

Love the add-on. Needs to allow access to a read-only folder. I need to access a folder that I don't have full rights and copy files to an FTP server. The workaround is to copy files to a temporary folder.

My default FTP program is CuteFTP, but for those places where its not available - this add-on is terrific! Really quick - no problems whatsoever. Works exactly as described. Simply great!
