My Reviews

Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Firstly thanks to the developers of this add-on. It was really great.

It sucks that Firefox has decided to break compatibility like this. I thought Mozilla would be reliable. WTF.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2.0).

Work Offline

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works on Firefox v51

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1-signed.1-signed).

Enhanced Facebook

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is just a google search with "host:facebook.com" using Google's Custom Search Engine interface.

Dorando keyconfig

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would be better if the window was resizeable. Reply: Tried that, didn't work. I assume there's some conflict with another add-on I'm using, but pretty weird. Other add-ons have resizeable settings windows. Anyway thanks for your work!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2016.2).

RefControl

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't change useragent in Firefox 48.0

RequestPolicy

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

uBlock replaces Adblock Plus and has an advanced mode that's essentially a better interface for RequestPolicy.

Restart

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is nice except the icon looks very much like an Options button.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.8).

Master Password+

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does stuff that should be built in to Firefox. However doesn't hide the titlebar if you're using an add-on that changes it (eg. Customize Titlebar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customize-titlebar/)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.16.1.1-signed).

KeePass Helper

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Customize Titlebar has more options https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customize-titlebar/

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0.1-signed.1-signed).

Stop Autoplay

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Works great but annoyingly hard to whitelist - you have to go to about:addons, Stop Autoplay > Options, Whitelist tab, enter URL... Also apparently it blocks embedded audio invisibly, so don't use this if you do want to hear background music sometimes.

Readability

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice but really needs a way to customize the views.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.5).

Scriptish

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It's missing the new Execution Order functionality of Greasemonkey. Not worth switching to until then.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1b9.1-signed.1-signed).

CookieSafe

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work with Firefox 4, Cookie Monster is better anyway.

Copy Plain Text

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

...please upload it here as an alternative version, Copy Plain Text+ or something! (Read reviews below for the current download links)

Google SSL Search

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Only works if your local Google is google.com

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20100521).

Toolbar Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant, especially the way you can build your own custom version. No issues.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.0.5).

ConQuery

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This was a great Firefox 2 extension. Correct link for Firefox 3 version is http://mozilla-ext-ja.way-nifty.com/blog/conquery/index.html Still a bit buggy though

No Tooltip Timeout

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I meant the userscript, http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/559

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

No Tooltip Timeout

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is good. But as far as xkcd goes, I recommend Comics Alt Text which displays the text in grey beneath the strip.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Tab Overflow Scrollbar

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It would be great but it opts to squish the tabs vertically, which is really ugly, instead of just having the scrollbar underneath.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
