As I wrote in the title, FireTray does not work on a brand new installation under KDE. But it works if you use your old profile (and you had FireTray installed and working) ! So before you make a clean install of your brand new Linux system, don't forget to make a copy of your profile. Once you've copied it, run Thunderbird profile manager, create a new profile and select the folder where the copy of your old profile is. Now run TB and... it works ! :)
