adds an important feature to tb. I'm using it since many years, it works now in 31.8.0 esr. But in the past there was a 'write new mail' command in the right-click menu that I'm really missing now. An other issue: when you have a second tb window accidentally you cannot close it permanently without deactivating this addon.

At least the WINNT-64 and the Linux-64 versions do mostly work, only the F9 command is not working, neither from the menu nor from the keyboard.

It's a good idea, but causes the program to start two (or even three) instances at the same time.

Works on Gnome 3.16 + Arch Linux + Thunderbird 38 Beta.
Doesn't have the fancy Mailbox icon that FireTray has, however it seems to be simple and effective, and unlike FireTray it's set to "double-click" to restore - which is more consistent with other Tray icons.

I looked around but could not find any contact mechanism (and I don't criticize that - I know that questions can quickly overwhelm one's incoming mail and become unmanageable). I'm a big fan of Nils' and think his work is some of the most useful and productivity-enhancing of any add-on developer. BTW - folks that find this useful, or perhaps "DownThemAll" - one of the coolest add-ons EVER - really _should_ show appreciation with a contribution/donation. DTA is perhaps the most killer add-on ever, imho. That said -
I wanted to alert Nils that the homepage for this add-on (https://tn123.org/mintrayr/) shows version 1.0 as current, and that's the latest available there. Since the homepage is linked to from the add-on's "more info" at the browser, it probably should have the current version. I can imagine that maintaining an extra page (home) for each add-on is a pain, and wonder if these at addons.mozilla.org should just serve that purpose. I imagine there's valid arguments against that though. Anyway - thought it was worth mentioning, and again - could not locate a contact link, or a comment-link on the homepage itself. Nils, I'm a fan - not intending to hand you more work ;-)

I thought I would look for an extension like this, so whenever I accidentally close and remember having to do something else, I don't have to wait for Firefox to load again :) I have to open if from the tray though, but that is to be expected with desktop launchers etc
