I have three accounts. FolderPane only shows two.

@remmie -I've been using Folderpane Tools with many other extensions, and I do not have the problem you report, so most likely it is a conflict with another extension, not Folderpane itself that is causing your problem. Troubleshooting extension conflicts can be a 'pane' (pun intended), but I would recommend the half-split method...For an extension that has been in maintenance mode for as long as this one has, and to continue working as well as it has, is amazing - 5 stars...

Using TB 15.01 [b/c the newer versions gave me problems]. I really appreciated this extension to rearrange my many email accts in TBird. However for the last <?> so-many versions of TBird (including 17x which I tried before reverting back to 15x) the column headings were not being saved, and I traced the problem to Folderpane Tools.
Ex: In the SENT folder I set to hide the "From" column and instead show the "Recipient" column. But every time I re-started TBird, the columns reverted to the default ...unless I disabled extensions, then the settings stuck.
Folderpane Tools 0.61 turned out to be the culprit. After I enabled it, I lost my saved column settings again. When I disabled the extension, my column settings stuck again.
I like the extension but will keep it disabled except for when I need to use it. Wish I knew enough to fix the code myself! If not for the bug I'd give it 5 stars. :)

Shows also Chat account - a little bit annoying for me.

I was a little nervous about installing this since my understanding is that it hasn't been formally tested for TB 14 but it seems to work ok so far and did allow me to reorder folders in my left pane.

I see some of the reviews say that the add on doesn't work. It does for me.

Time for an update. Not working anymore. It messes up the complete folder list also.

Works with SeaMonkey 2.8 mail client, although the messages it displays are Thunderbird-specific and the installer is getting rather dated. I had to unzip the XPI archive and modify the install.rdf file with a text editor to allow installation in this version of SeaMonkey, changing the maxVersion value from 2.5a1 to 2.8, then re-zip it into a new archive and change its extension to .xpi. Fortunately, this is something that even a novice user should be able to do. (This review pertains to Folderpane Tools 0.6.1.)

How to adjust the order in which to ask for a password?

At last, I was able to get sense from my folder pane. :D

This small extension/addon doesn't do all that much, but what it does do (rearrange folders and set the default) is extremely important. I've been using Thunderbird for years, since converting from Eudora, and have not been able to change the order in which my accounts appear in the folder-pane, nor set the default. I've tried editing the userprefs.js and it does not take, or the changes appear random -- not sure why, it's pretty straightforward looking. This little bit of code fixed it first time, hoo-rah. I give it a high mark! /..
PS: I use Thunderbird 5.0 now, and this is the version I for which I installed and used FolderPane.

It's possible and fairly easy to make Folderpane Tools v0.6 compatible with Thunderbird 5.0
Since this nice extension is in maintenance mode, hopefully changing maxVersion is legal and acceptable to the authors
