The first extension I get whenever I install Firefox. Other link dragging extension are over complicated (but good if you need the extra functionality, which I don't). This one does just what you need, simply and effectively. I hope it never stops working, because I don't know how I'll live without it.

Intuitive, yet simple, this add-on allows the user much flexibility without over-complicating the process of drag and drop.

No hesitation....5 stars. tiny footprint. does what it says it does. works Perfectly Every time. SAVES screwing around with right click crap etc etc. Just 'blue' the word phrase etc ....then left click on it and give a slight upward flick to it.....and hey presto it opens search for that item in a new tab. How good can life get?......i would go seriously whacko without this !!So....i can cover a page or two and just highlight what i need to know more about...flick em all up and i have searches running for me in an instant.WELL DONE.

Drag & Save Image option works with Waterfox 16.0 and don't use Auto Update.

目前用起來很好用。搜尋的話:第一個動作先選取文字反白,第二個動作拖拉就會另開分頁。要連結另開的話,直接拖拉連結就好,減少了很多誤按的狀況~贊!終於更新了~等很久了!

Well, works fine but, drag and save image option doesnt works anymore, actually the only way I found to save imgs faster is with FireGetures, I can easily save by using a key like D+R+D

Absolutely it was perfect and i put as 5 stars for my appreciation.
But now, it doesn't work as well, when i drag a picture, it won't be downloaded just being in a new window.
Please assess

Works in Pale Moon Version: 19.0.2

As many have stated, the image drag feature doesn't work in FF18 and beyond. I recently installed an alternative add-on called "Quick Drag 4 img" and so far it seems to be working fine in FF19. No config was required. Hopefully I don't discover any negatives but so far so good.

I USED to love this. But now the drag image feature doesn't work in FF18. I see from other comments going back a long time that others are having the same problem.
The maker seems to have no interest in fixing it. This version was written 10 FF versions ago! They haven't updated it since October 2011.
I do NOT now recommend this. I mean, how can I when it doesn't function like it is SUPPOSED to.
I used to be one of the most important add ons to FF. Now it's useless.
Don't bother.

I am afraid it is not compatible with FF18.
To save a image, I have to drag it first, open it in a new tab and then right click to save it.
Would you please debug this problem?

Great addon, but It's broken in 18 D:
Cant save images

it seems FF 18 broke the drag and drop to save an image functionality. now dragging an image has the same behavior as right-clicking and 'View Image'.
this has been in my must have extension list for a long time and will continue to be. thanks for your hard work, Stevie Smith!

I totally love this addon.
Only the drag'n'drop saving pictures no longer works in FF18.
Please, update your addon.

This add-on is the single reason I cannot move to any other browsers, absolutely brilliant and I cannot live without it.
Please, for the love of god update this for FF18 quickly.
