If you could combine this with "Ad to Search Bar", so you could add engines easily and use them either from the context menu or the search bar, you'd get the fifth star. But it's useful enough as is to get 4 from me.

This plugin drives me nuts. When it's working it's indispensable. The intended functionality really should be part of the core Firefox build. On the other hand, it's buggy as hell, and has been for years, and wastes vast amounts of my time. I have just tried to delete one single search engine and SearchWith deleted the lot. It never asks for confirmation. And its interface is utterly crap. A++ for concept, D- for implementation. Infuriating.

Nice, thanks for the work.
Would be really good if it could pick up the search engines (all user generated easily) from the excellent Add to Search Bar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682

This functionality is something that would be useful to me, particularly the ability to put the search arguments into quotes, but it turns out to be pretty useless because the extension doesn't seem to handle characters with diacritics properly. I tried to search for "Academia Mexicana de Genealogía y Heráldica" but this extension took me to a search for "Academia Mexicana de Genealog?a y Her?ldica", which doesn't get me anywhere.
My other beef is that I can't find a way to contact the developer directly, meaning that I have to raise a bug report here rather than through the proper channels. Clicking on the support link only gets me to a page where I'm asked to sign up to a mailing list. I want to report a bug, and get a response to it, not join a social networking site, and so I have no option but to report it here and hope for a response.

I second Godwin's request (display in main context menu, not in a submenu). Otherwise great.

Can you please include an option to show all the search engines in the context menu of Firefox and not inside a submenu ?

SearchWith is one of my "must-have" addons.
I was really missing it while the context menu hiccup lasted. Version 0.4.3 fixed this issue, and I'm a happy camper once again. Thanks!

The authors name in the context menu of Firefox is a "no go"! I will wait a little time for an update. In the worst case, I will uninstall it.

What was a 5 Star extension is no longer.
The developer took it upon himself to add his name to the context menu in Firefox with no way to remove it. Unprofessional.
Do like the rest of the developers and put your name in an About Bubble or leave it in the install.rdf

I don't like the new context menu item "soyapi",there is no need to perform himself to do like this.
why not leave an option to remove it to end user?

Version 0.4.3 adds "Soyapi" in main context menu and does nothing when clicked.

Not working on TB3

Worked sporadically with TB3 RC2. Not at all with TB3 Official.

I never realized how much I needed this extension until I upgraded to TB3.0beta and found that it didn't work anymore (at least, not while reading a message). The string of negative reviews below all seem to be from linkspammers advertising for their own _Firefox_ extensions, who didn't realize (or care) that this is a Thunderbird extension. Hopefully it'll be upgraded soon, or someone will suggest an alternative that works with TB3! Please?
